The dead in Christ will rise first.<quoted text>sorry, but as ALL christians knows. the writer is talking about the [rapture] when he speaks of our bodies being changed, not after we are dead.
geesh, cant some of you flakes ever try and learn something about His Word.
and in secular medical world, it was learned over 20 years ago that there is the body present a molecule that has the ability to transform itself in 1/33,000 of a second, which conforms to the identical time of the "twinkling of the eye".
so it stands to reason that if a body is dead, that molecule is also dead, and therefore would not have the propensity to observe this change
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
King James Version (KJV)
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord
