Again--"why don't you believe the TRUE SPOKEN WORDS of Jesus!! Continuing to lie about what you and others believe is quite telling. "We do believe Jesus!!" - only a part of Jesus is more accurate. "Why don't you believe what Jesus says "in the Gospels" - I never said I didn't. But limiting Jesus to only the Bible is not believing in Jesus. It is only half-believing, as you and many others do. Why are you trying to mislead others with tales of grandeur, when really they are only just misdirections and omissions of his teachings?

The Apostle Paul said we are sinning against the actual body and blood of Jesus Christ if we eat the bread and drink the wine unworthily. There shouldn't be anyway around it dear. Of course, there shouldn't be anyway around "This is my body, this is my blood" either. But you proud born agains temporarily found a way.

Christ also said "Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep." Does that mean he was actually a door for little four-legged wooly critters (sheep)? Don't sheep use a gate...not a door???? He also said "I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.. Does that mean Christ is actually a vine??? Are you a branch??? What kind of fruit do you bring???

FYI: the priest can not absolve sin. Have you ever asked Jesus to forgive sin? Is being a member of the Roman Church with a figurehead claiming to be 'vicar of christ', a sin?

At this point in my life, if I were to walk into one of those Presbyterian Evangelical Baptist churches and do an alter call and declare "I'm born again; I accept Christ as my savior!" I would expect Jesus to slap me upside the head for failing to see He has been with me since my second grade First Holy Communion and before.(but I clearly remember the good feeling on my first communion, knowing something special just happened) Anyway, I also reaffirmed my parents decision to bring me to baptism. I did this in 8th grade and testify to being sealed with the Holy Spirit. All Catholic youth get the chance to do this btw. How insulting to Jesus Christ if I were to leave His Church to do an alter call at one of yours and get 'saved'. Really Ox, He gave me the precious gift of the Eucharist, and I can't think anything more insulting to Him than to turn my back on it.

1 Corinthians 11:17-34 Order at the Lord’s Supper 17 But in the following instructions, I cannot praise you. For it sounds as if more harm than good is done when you meet together. 18 First, I hear that there are divisions among you when you meet as a church, and to some extent I believe it. 19 But, of course, there must be divisions among you so that you who have God’s approval will be recognized! 20 When you meet together, you are not really interested in the Lord’s Supper. 21 For some of you hurry to eat your own meal without sharing with others. As a result, some go hungry while others get drunk. 22 What? Don’t you have your own homes for eating and drinking? Or do you really want to disgrace God’s church and shame the poor? What am I supposed to say? Do you want me to praise you? Well, I certainly will not praise you for this! 23 For I pass on to you what I received from the Lord himself. On the night when he was betrayed, the Lord Jesus took some bread 24 and gave thanks to God for it. Then he broke it in pieces and said,“This is my body, which is given for you.f Do this to remember me.” 25 In the same way, he took the cup of wine after supper, saying,“This cup is the new covenant between God and his people—an agreement confirmed with my blood. Do this to remember me as often as you drink it.” 26 For every time you eat this bread and drink this cup, you are announcing the Lord’s death until he comes again. 27 So anyone who eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord unworthily is guilty of sinning againstg the body and blood of the Lord. 28 That is why you should examine yourself before eating the bread and drinking the cup. 29 For if you eat the bread or drink the cup without honoring the body of Christ, you are eating and drinking God’s judgment upon yourself. 30 That is why many of you are weak and sick and some have even died. 31 But if we would examine ourselves, we would not be judged by God in this way. 32 Yet when we are judged by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not be condemned along with the world. 33 So, my dear brothers and sisters, when you gather for the Lord’s Supper, wait for each other. 34 If you are really hungry, eat at home so you won’t bring judgment upon yourselves when you meet together. I’ll give you instructions about the other matters after I arrive.

When read in the literal sense...it teaches us to be cannibals...Christ never did such a thing!!!! cannibal: A person who eats the flesh of other humans. Don't tell me that. Tell Christ that. I already partook in the Eucharist, I'll go to my death defending it. I can't be convinced to walk away from it. I understand it completely Ox and you do not. Your minister it not in the Catholic Church, so it does no good for Him to try and have Holy Communion.
