Now, to continue in our series on the Plague of Atheists:
Mind you, the appeals of atheism as a diverting pastime are not immediately obvious to those of us who are on relatively easy terms with God. Why would anyone get so excited about the misconceptions of third parties as to the existence of a fourth party in which they themselves do not believe?
The answer is twofold. First, the great advantage of designer atheism is that you get to think of yourself as immensely clever. After all, you are at least much brighter than all those dumb-asses who believe in a supreme being, such as Sister Perpetua down the road, Thomas Aquinas, Isaac Newton and Dietrich Bonhoeffer. So satisfying.
The second factor has to do with wit. For some reason, contemporary Australian/American atheism seems to consider itself terribly funny. Its proponents only have to wheel out one of the age-old religious libels to lose control of their bladders. To outsiders, of course, it is a bit like watching a giggling incontinent drunk at a party. This is not to say that believers - and perhaps especially Catholics - do not get seriously irritated by atheists. They do, but not because atheists are fearfully clever or Wildely funny.
Frankly, the prime reason the average believer finds the common or garden atheist as appealing as a holiday in Birchip is because they consign them to that sorry category of individuals who spend their lives loudly congratulating themselves on their own intelligence without noticing that no one else is joining the chorus.

When God tells you that you are right and everyone else is wrong, please tell all of us.

..The biggest threat to your church is not non-believers, but the very teachers of your faith who have failed the followers, by committing the worst sins of all, and yet they sternly tell you to never commit such sins yourself.

From New Jersey, to Los Angeles and all points inbetween, every catholic diocese has been infected by a few clergy who have done the unspeakable, and much of the rest of the clergy including ARCH-BISHOPS as you now know, lied, deceived and covered up the unspeakable from YOU..........but that is OK you say, lets blame someone else.

Its easy to point your fingers at outsiders, because you REGINA always fear to point your finger at the real problem. Your own church leaders who have failed everyone.

A plague of Atheists has Descended, and Catholics are the Target
Attacking Christians is Not Really Clever, Witty or Funny.
FROM time immemorial, this world has been troubled by plagues. From bogong moths in Canberra to frogs in biblical Egypt, unwelcome and unlovely creatures have the awkward habit of turning up in bulk.
Just now, we are facing one of our largest and least appealing infestations. Somewhat in advance of summer's blowflies, we are beset by atheists. Worse, they are not traditional atheists. These tended to be quiet blokes called Algie with ancillary interests in nudist ceramics, who were perfectly happy as long as you pretended to accept a pamphlet in Flinders Lane.
No, the new hobby atheist is as brash, noisy and confident as a cheap electric kettle. They want everyone to know that they have not found God, and that no one else should. Their particular target seems to be Catholics. On the surface, this is odd, as there are plenty of other religious targets just waiting to be saved from a vengeful, non-existent deity. Smaller herds, such as the Christadelphians or the Salvation Army, might seem more manageable. But the Catholic Church has two incomparable advantages as an object of the wrath of proselytising atheists.
*First, it is the biggie. Taking out the Catholics is the equivalent of nuking the Pentagon. Guerilla bands of Baptists and Pentecostals can be liquidated at leisure.
*Second, the Catholics have the undeniable advantage that they do still demonstrably believe in something.
Attacking some of the more swinging Christian denominations might mean upsetting people who believe a good deal less than the average atheist.(LOL, very good one by the author!)

Regina M. says when posting to a protestant thank God I am a catholic. Then you post negative things about atheists or other non believers.

You don't even follow the scriptures of what you were taught.

The scriptures claim Jesus fed 5,000 people loaves/fishes. Did Jsus ask each one if they were a Jew or pagan? NO! It didn't matter to him he fed them.

Did he say if you are non religious I will not feed you?... NO!!

Did he criticize the prostitutes?... No!

Did he say I will hate you... No!! It didn't matter to him, because he treated everyone equally as a brother/sister and judged no one.

You my dear, judge everyone, and according to your standards, not Gods, therefore you are BUSTED!......again!

More of your teachings that YOU don't follow.

You are way off topic. Get focused back on the roman catholic church.

A current event story in the roman catholic church....below.

Question. What were the main reasons incoming Cardinal Gomez stripped administrative duties, and verbally spanked Cardinal Mahony from the arch-diocese of Los Angeles?

I am sure you have an opinion?

More rationalization -- how Catholics try to avoid verifiable facts and reason.

....... This is a board about how the RCC claims that all others are spiritually "defective."

....... This is a board claiming that the churches of 99% of America's Founders were somehow not "true churches."

Of course, if one disagrees and defends America's founders, they are somehow "attacking" Catholics.

There is no end to the hatred spewed by these anti-American sickos.

If the church has a right to determine who belongs and who doesn't why doesn't mother church practice that?
If catholic women are having abortions, and if the church hates gay people, same sex marriage, and has no use for equality for women in the church, does not tolerate catholics who do not attend mandatory mass, or use contraceptives and against catholics and clergy who speak in favor of optional celebacy why doesn't the church clear up this matter and say........you are not welcome here.
What is the point in beating around the bush continually berating catholics who don't really want to belong.
Its time the church leaders say. YOUR IN OR YOUR OUT.
.....do you agree?
They do, a person who procures an abortion incurs excommunication latae sententiae.

Yep! It's everyone's fault -- except theirs.

I am PROUD to be called names by Catholics sickos, because I stand with sexually-abused orphans against one of the most powerful and corrupt institutions on earth.

Heck, there was even a Super Bowl ad mocking these Catholic sickos!

DUH!!!!!!!!!! The RCC is not God.
95.9% of humanity do not deny Jesus, just the corrupt and perverted RCC.
The Catholic Church is not God, silly. But it IS The Church Christ started. It does have the authority from God to teach infallibly on faith and morals. It IS the administrator of His Holy Sacraments and those graces are from God and God only.

Nothing will ever bring down this Church. Its literally impossible. It will be here when your great grand kids are long gone. No other organization on the planet has existed as long as the RCC.

They can't refute, so they attack.

If Jesus were truly on their sicko side, they could do much better -- like presenting real-world facts backed by links.

But alas, they stand with Evil perverts -- and resort to attacks and lies -- because that's all Satan has.

Thank you. It's good to be on the side of goodness and truth.

Thanks to benefactors like Mussolini, there will always be a collection of perverts known as the Roman Catholic Church -- the lapdog of totalitarians and dictators.
