No. I've read enough to show me you are as clueless as I originally thought.

If you want to prove your case to me, you'll have to provide the evidence.

Thanks for responding.

The 'ritual' was instituted by Christ, that's why.
Not with bells, candles, ostentoriums and being fed by the priest.
Christ kept it simple. He did not do the Hocus Pocus thing either.
He spoke the native tongue, not a language the disciples couldn't understand as the mass was said for centuries in Latin.
What the RCC has made of it is not what Christ instituted.

Incorrect.

I made the statement, but you think it is a fabrication. That would now place the onus on you to prove I am wrong.

Besides, I already provided documentation that show I am correct.

Live with it Anthony.

Go hug a pedophile priest if it makes you feel better, but don't tell them where you got teh document from, because it is supposed to be "Confidential" and "eyes only" - per the Vatican.

Are you saying this Church questioned the Trinity??
Scott Hahn and his wife Kimberly claim they were former EVANGELICAL Presbyterians.

I'm not going to argue with you about it.
No one taught me about the trinity,I read the scriptures and can see the trinity.
I didnt wish to argue with clay either,sometimes it is necessary to take a stand. God has lots of Good ministers that have no tint of scandal in their lives.

even tho I dont particularly care for Graham, there has never been a scandal in his life, and there are many more "career ministers" that are just as faithful to God or even more so.

and like you, I know that I belong to the King of Kings, the Lord and Master of my Soul. I know that I am Saved and I know that God has Called me into His Ministry of Preaching the Good News about Jesus Christ, and I am not ashamed of that role that I play in His Kingdom

You called the Liturgy of the Eucharist a 'ritual'. Any other 'ritual' which purports to be the Lord's supper is, well yes, heretical.

I know you've toned it down Preston and I appreciate your effort. Your personal testimony is just that, personal, and sharing it here in this particular forum, even though you believe it with all your heart, doesn't necessairly have the effect you desire, especially when compared to sharing it with someone in person. That's all I'm going to say about that.
But your views on the Blessed Virgin are wrong. And they are insulting. And they are totally unbiblical. And in light of the fact that you take so much pride in standing up for the written Word, I think it diminishes your reputation as such. I wish you would stop.
I ahve NEVER been interested in a reputation, I have always been in what I percevie is the Truth, however.

and for me to even consider that God had intercourse with Mary is unfathomable. God gave me this a few hours ago, so you can ponder on it.

For God to have fertilized the egg of Mary would then mean that Jesus was half man/half God, and as a Christian, I dont believe that. I beleive that He was fully human/fully God..

and the concept of God placing an embryo in her womb covers all of the bases(at least for me). It takes nothing away from Mary, in fact, go back to genesis and read about the "seed". a woman has no "seed", therfore she ,at the beginning, contributed nothing but her womb.
several times, I have given you an article dealing with an embryo and how it attaches itself to the womb, and then takes from the woman, human characteristics.

I apologize for ONLY ONE THING, this was over the head of you and reg. for that I apologize.I thought that I was discussing Truth with adults, I was Wrong.

Just by having it written.

I've given you the details, maybe you should ask the Vatican why they ordered it not to be published or why they even had to create such a document.

Nah - I've moved on. If you want it proved further, you'll have to go look for the documents yourself.

I gave you an answer, it is now your own Self that needs to reconcile it.

Good luck.

Self.
<quoted text>
You are right, it isn't, but understanding the mechanisms of why we do things, through a true in-depth search (meditation and prayer) of our actions (works), we can learn and become better people toward others and in 'faith', hope to make positive changes in the world around us. It also allows one to begin to see the things in the world that can be appreciated, and appreciate what they do for us and us for them.
Self.
<quoted text>
I agree.
<quoted text>
I disagree. A person can have the best results when understanding all the negative aspects as well. If they refuse to acknowledge and seek out the correct information, then they really can't assume anything, because they don't know if it is true or not.
Saying something is true without accurate details or information to validate it factually is, is a ruse not only to yourself, but also to others. "One should not stop seeking.(Jesus)"
<quoted text>
In what regard?
Lots of things are given and taken away, that have no relevance on salvation. You are thinking of only things in the material world.
Material issues and things have no bearing in a spiritual realm, if and when salvation occurs. According to Jesus, we feel no pain, harm, or other "demons" that we are apportioned to in this world.
<quoted text>
Only to those who think they "know" the inner workings of "God", which I may add, was given to you by men ("Job").
Self.

NASL replied:

"I disagree. A person can have the best results when understanding all the negative aspects as well. If they refuse to acknowledge and seek out the correct information, then they really can't assume anything, because they don't know if it is true or not."

It is better to act on an assumption, than to act on something incorrect.

This may be where we disagree. You would rather continue in acting on a known incorrect,(hoping to accumulate enough negatives, that eventually a positive will be found).

(I think it goes to the foundation of Gnosticism in that it unites self with all things.)

Two wrongs don't make a right....Continuing in sin, one does not eventually come to the end, and make a conclusion that there is a righteous act.

Instead one may be given, or make the assumption that one is doing a righteous act, that may be proven righteous or sinful.

This leaves room for the mind to become enlightened, rather than declaring the mind is enlightened, when in fact it is operating on an incorrect known(That is darkness.).
