Oh, I didn't overlook these passages - but you did.

You overlooked the point that these were written by John and Luke, not Jesus.

Do you have something written exclusively by Jesus?

Do you have anything, with him saying - "I am God."

Why do you have to mislead others?

Why don't you beleive Jesus when he stated:

(3) Jesus says:

(1) "If those who lead you say to you:‘Look, the kingdom is in the sky!’
then the birds of the sky will precede you.
(2) If they say to you:‘It is in the sea,’ then the fishes will precede you.
(3) Rather, the kingdom is inside of you, and outside of you."
(4) "When you come to know yourselves, then you will be known,
and you will realize that you are the children of the living Father.
(5) But if you do not come to know yourselves, then you exist in poverty, and you are poverty."

The Roman Catholic Church is well known for their CREATIVE WRITTING so it should be no big deal for them to cover up the money launding and get rid of any paper trails etc.

Do you think someone who denies Christ 3 times is a better Christian than say a Christian of today?

Actually "folks like you and me" means they were human beings subject to sin and temptation like us. They were not like you and me living the same comfortable and carefree 21st century lives.

When was the last time someone held a gun to your head and told you if you admit to being a Christian he'd pull the trigger? Pretty easy feeling secure in your faith while sitting in your comfy chair with no threat to your life isn't it?

Why did you think that these passages had anything to do with Jesus being "God", when they clearly have no bearing at all.

My theology says he's not, unless he was somehow able to make things right with the Lord before the flames got him.
There was another protestant poster here, disciple I think, who changed his mind about OSAS. I hope you consider it.

How many catholics on here have posted about being sick or ailing from something! LOTS!
How much faith do catholics really have in their own system? They all know about Lourdes/Fatima that if you suffer from some ailment all you have to do is show up dip the withered limb in the fast flowing water stream and you will be healed. Don't forget to throw your cane on top of the HUGE pile of canes already there.
I don't see a mass exodus everyday at airports with sick ailing catholics, with signs to Lourdes/Fatima saying "ALL FLIGHTS ARE BOOKED SOLID"
SEATS ARE AVAILABLE! first class and coach!
Can you name those Catholics that have being sick or ailing of something? You said 'Lots' so it won't be that difficult to name them.

I’ve been to Fatima and there were plenty of people there!

May 2, 2012 -“an average of 5 million visit Fatima yearly.”

No, not to many….LOL!

Yes, where you stated, "I think it is Church's teaching".

If it isn't, they why make an opinion that it is.

You Catholics seem to be riding the RCC wave on the seat of your pants. Do you always "think" the RCC is teaching something that they don't?

It is obvious with "Jesus being God" - which is false also.

Why don't you believe Jesus?

More importantly, why do you believe men?

What kind of proof do you need?

Or are you going to use my point, against me, but not taking it to fact with yourself?

Do you see how clueless you are?

Do you see how dishonest you are becoming?

Why do you believe in false doctrines when they have been proven by their own words that they are untrue?

The joining is the marriage. Marriage (syzeúgnymi) is for two to be commonly yoked together. They share in common a common yoke of marriage.
I really am wondering what sort of understanding you have of the Bible? Are you coming from a point of not knowing anything, or has someone taught you?
Answer the question:
Does that mean that a man and woman whom God has joined together are the same person????!!!!! Is that person the man...or is that person the woman???!!!!

Jesus Christ is the Person of "God Resides With Us"(Emmanuel).
Shorter: Jesus is God.
Emmanuel is a name of Christ....

God and Christ cannot be one: example: Christ is praying to His Father:

And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
