Lying is not the same as disagreement.
You people always try to whitewash your false witness by pretending that it's nothing more than a difference of opinion.
Then you cry bloody murder when you're called on it. Grow up.
You're not worth getting angry over. You do disgust me, however.

See Ecclesiastes 8:12, note; Ecclesiastes 8:14, note. The living are conscious that there is a future before them: but the dead are unconscious; they earn nothing, receive nothing, even the memory of them soon disappears; they are no longer excited by the passions which belong to people in this life; their share in its activity has ceased. Solomon here describes what he sees, not what he believes; there is no reference here to the fact or the mode of the existence of the soul in another world, which are matters of faith.

The last clause of Ecclesiastes 9:6 indicates that the writer confines his observations on the dead to their portion in, or relation to, this world.

and this context is what the protestant and the catholics can agree on.

the soul will live on until the Last resurrection. it will not just go to sleep as those who teach false doctrine.

Do not
let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s
house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I
go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come
again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also. And
you know the way where I am going”(John 14:1-4).

“It is appointed for men
to die once and after this comes judgment" (Hebrews 9:27).

Jesus speaks about the two final destinies again when He is confronted by the
religious leaders in John:“Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming and
now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear
will live. For just as the Father has life in Himself, even so He gave to the
Son also to have life in Himself; and He gave Him authority to execute
judgment, because He is the Son of Man. Do not marvel at this; for an hour is
coming, in which all who are in the tombs will hear His voice, and will come
forth; those who did the good deeds to a resurrection of life, those who
committed the evil deeds to a resurrection of judgment”(John 5:25-29). Christ
restates the matter very plainly in Matthew when He says,“These [unbelievers]
will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life”
(Matthew 25:46).

“When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal
with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has
been swallowed up in victory.’‘Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O
death, is your sting?’" (1 Corinthians 15:54–55).

Why don't you address the issue? Seminaries in america that formed cliques of gay men, keeping straight men out of the clergy? Shouldn't you know why?
Why do you FEAR to learn that things are not always squeeky clean like you want them to be?

I have always stated there is a perverted sub-culture within the ranks of the clergy. The news during the past several years confirms this.
Still "blowing (contaminated, and polluted smoke"---hey Michael? Stick around because we (as Catholics) enjoy listening to you "make a fool of yourself" over and over again with your "exaggerated and distorted nonsense". You are as "desperate as ever"!!!

"absent from the body present with the Lord"

This simply means following the resurrection their next waking moment will be with a glorified new body. There are no disembodied spirits floating on clouds. All who have ever lived are today in the grave awaiting Jesus' call to resurrection.

Luther understood this Bible truth

http://biblelight.net/luther-tyndale.htm

There is no immortality before then. Only Jesus has immortality. Mary is in the grave. The Catholic 'virgin mary' is some demon.

Your assumption and attempt at character assassination is completely without merit.

Will some people never be able to forgive? I have no doubt of that. Will anything short of destruction of the church be enough for some? I have no doubt. Who will be the next to blame when the problem doesnt go away? Will some get angry if prayers are asked for the abusers so that they may be healed of their sickness. Yes Will some say prayer is a waste of time and nonsense. Yes 100% approval ratings about whatever anyone does is very rare especially when you have been around for 2000 years.

Actually calls for prayer for victims, private meetings with victims, counseling, the urging of victims to come foreward, prayers, fasting and special vigils along with submissions of policies by Bishops and reports of procedures that are in place and sharing of new ideas of prevention are commonplace.

abuse victim Marie Collins spoke at a special gathering of Bishops who came together to pray and she said:

Lord, as one acquainted with great sorrows,
you know how difficult it is for us to forgive
those who have done us evil and
only your love can open ourselves to this gift:
we ask you for the strength to unite us to
the forgiveness that, from the cross, you made descend
upon sinful humanity as a healing balm,
so that also thy Church may be healed by our forgiveness.
“Forgive them.”
