When the day was done, when Jesus was crucified.....what the Centurion was "looking at" wasnít judgment!
What was the Centurion "looking at???"
He was looking at Godís mercy....
He was looking at Godís love.....
He was looking at Jesus, His Son!!!!!!!
Does this make sense?.....Nope!...Let's take you back to basics. Like Adam and Eve. Do you know who they are?

Matthew, Mark and Luke never addressed ANY type of diplomatic immunity.
I can look that reality in the eye.
You are correct, they didn't address it directly.

However...

Matthew, Mark, and Luke certainly did address diplomatic immunity as it is being used by the church to block orphans from receiving justice.

Point being --- no ONLY TRUE GUIDED church of Jesus would do the exact opposite of what Matthew, Mark, and Luke all agreed Jesus said about those who harmed children who came to HIM.

Nothing against individual churches, but the leadership is out of control and does need guidance. Maybe the RCC should start listening to Jesus' words again?

LOL Knowledge is the villian only to a narcissistic, self worshiping dishonest god hustler like you - but you are right faith = the opposite oif knowledge (ignorance) for to admit a belief requires faith is an admission the belief can not stand on its own merits. In other words it's pure crap.
Pat

Faith is humble enough to say it does not know(everything), and therefore is enough to know something.

Knowledge without faith understands(knows) nothing.

The saddest point is that the ignorance of this society as it is in decline does not recognize the necessity of faith, and thus like the other nations will die.

The view you express seeks to eliminate faith as unnecessary. It is and will shortlived, as this Age of Relativism sinks under its own weight.

Put it out to pasture.
Actually, only about 6 months.

It directly refutes the title of this board.

There are other RCC forums. So Why here, under the banner of spiritual superiority?

Here, that claim will be refuted with facts.

Yeah.

"Facts" like Matthew, Mark and Luke's take on diplomatic immunity you're trying to treat us to.

Can't wait.

I'm not here under any banner.

It's a message board.

Last night in bible study we were talking about the two witnesses in Revelation 11. I heard Moses, Elijah, John the Baptist, Enoch, Abraham....
who do you think they are?
To be honest I'm not even sure
Churck good friend

I presume the Revelation bible study is geared for a future(near future) apocoplypse.

However, in the past, the two witnesses were known as the Apostles Peter and Paul.(When they died, it was thought Christianity might die....)(You probably heard of Nero as 666, and Rome as the beast.)

Unfortunately, when we try and put names to the two witnesses in the future it may be another 10,000 or 100,000 years, and our understanding of scripture is still in its infancy.

They didn't discover the "New World" - only in the history you want to believe.

This gent actually has very good evidence to support that the Minoans actually travelled here and took back the copper that was mined - during the Bronze Age.

You can go on believing what you will, but it doesn't make it factual.

Don't over-worry yourself about it, you aren't.

There are many so-called "Christians" on this forum, who like to make up things about others, "God", and who knows who else.

Shoot - they can't even be honest enough to admit that they only follow a portion of Jesus' teachings.

BTW - you won't receive any viable answer to your question, so just move on past it.

I've yet to still receive an answer on why I am "the spawn of the devil".

Ya see - illogical at best, but not to the one who is misguided by the lies of Christianity.

Cheers!

Let's compare Catholic and non-Catholic societies in the Americas.
Here wee see the fruits of Catholicism:
more poverty
more crime
fewer basic human rights
more corruption
more drugs
shorter average life span
Ain't Catholicism great!!!:o)
Free Mind

Yes....We have to keep picking up the poor and establishing basic human rights, lessen crime and corruption, drug abuse, better food and medicine.

It is called the corporal works of mercy. And the Catholic Church needs to do more in the world. The world is in such a bad state now....

Unfortunately, we have to go against the world leaders and nations that "call" themselves "advanced"....What a laugh.... Its a challenge to go up against the most murderous country in the world with its murderous abortion, and highest incarceration rates in the world, its decline in education, its massive addiction to drugs....

But thanks for reminding me....

It's the WORLDWIDE, DECADES LONG, INSTITUTIONAL COVER-UP that tells the world the one-true claim is baloney.
Jesus would not stand for such a thing from his church.
Jesus has self-respect.
"hojo" doesn't understand.

As you can see with his posts, they are all the same rant and nonsense.

IMO - he doesn't have a clue on what he thinks he knows, and lives to wallow in the same few sentences he's promoted for the past couple of years.

Just let him keep believing in the lie. Maybe one day, he'll see it for himself.

And where is "God" why all this is occurring?

A: Kicking it back on Cloud 9 with Jimi, Janice, Jerry, Bonzo - and probably listening to some kick-ass jams!

It's people like you have love to circumvent the actualities and "hope" something comes about from it good - all the while, you still watch the same ol'-same ol'.

Again I ask, where is your "God" while all this is occuring?

Not as powerful as your team claims "Him" to be.

Shoot - "He" couldn't even give "His children" all the same information regarding which religion is accurate.

Here's a dollar - go and buy a clue.

RUN CATHOLICS, RUN!! But they can't run from this.
FACT: Matthew, Mark and Luke ALL agree.
There is no such thing as HOLY Diplomatic Immunity from justice for children.
Catholics here cannot look this reality in the eye.
Individual Priests cannot invoke diplomatic immunity. It is the church that makes a claim of immunity on behalf of "priests."
There is no way in Hell that Jesus would guide such a travesty of justice.
Next.....
What are the fruits of Catholicism?

Paul extended his time on earth by declaring diplomatic immunity from the Jews in Jerusalem, by being a Roman citizen.

Therefore, diplomatic immunity can be used....

Your statement is a strawman of course. The RCC does not claim diplomatic immunity for the priests. Rather it seeks to protect its priests as it does for everyone living in these times of rampant crime in the world, oppressive nationalistic fervor, and unreasoned ignorance.

<quoted text>When one seeks to give attributes to any crreated being and place them spiritually on a higher plain than all others and give them super titles such as 'Queen of Heaven', Holy Father, Arch bishop etc. one is attempting to deify that person. When one attributes to a created being that are to be attributed to God alone, the same is true. This has been a progressive process in the RCC. When Mary is ascribed as being sinless (just like Jesus) when Mary was said to have been raised bodily(just like Jesus) when Mary is oft referred to as 'co-meditor', co-redeemer and such, the RCC has sought to elevate her well above what the scriptures do. And to say the very least, it fringes on idolatry. And it takes away from the all sufficiency of Jesus Christ.
Mary wasn't the only one who was raised bodily to heaven without suffering death. So your argument that this Catholic dogma is equating her to Christ is null.
Mary takes nothing away to the sufficiency of Jesus Christ.
We treat her the same way Jesus did. We imitate Christ by doing what He did in honoring His father AND Mother.

Jesus was God. He certainly didn't require intercession.

How does the veneration of Mary diminish Christ (as if anyone or anything could)?

God sent God down to impregnate Mary so she could give birth to God, so God would some how orchestrate his own death so he could die as God and return to heaven to be with God.

Pagan beliefs also had their trinities. Triune God in christianity is just THEIR version of what others believed in the past.

You were taught and believe that 3 persons in one God are all equal, yet its obvious that God the father makes all the decisions for the other 2 persons of God.

....So much for equality......
