I disagree with your assumption that the "trinity" is not found in the Bible. of course it is.<quoted text>
I certainly would agree with any protestant doctrine over a Jw or SDA. But you have to admit Preston,'trinity' is not explicitly found in scripture.
a true sola scripturist technically can't believe it. Am I wrong? Wouldn't it take an Earthly authority to determine such a dogma? Well, that would be outside of scripture then.
And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.
In this verse alone, we find the "trinity" as has been stated a zillion times for those who wish to exploit our doctrine about one little word.
here we see that John talking about God sending him, and God told him that he would see the Holy Ghost fall on the Messiah and Jesus himself being Baptised and to further prove the Trinty is a true doctrine and FACT.John "hears" the voice of God speak highly of His Son.contrary to what the cult of jws think, teach and beleive.
