You are resisting His drawing.

You mean like this:
Deuteronomy 22:20 But if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not found for the damsel:

21 Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father's house: so shalt thou put evil away from among you.

Do you or anyone you know go looking for "tokens of virginity"?

You may have noticed that god is very interested in girls' virginity, but not so much in the boys. Why is that?

But your god does love the boys' foreskin!

1 Samuel 18:25
And Saul said, Thus shall ye say to David, The king desireth not any dowry, but an hundred foreskins of the Philistines, to be avenged of the king's enemies. But Saul thought to make David fall by the hand of the Philistines.

Any idea why foreskins were such a big deal to god in the early part of the bible, but not in the later parts?

When one is baptised in water, aren't sins washed away?
That inludes, past, present, and future....How far into the past?
Two questions:
What about original sin?(Isn't it in the nature of fallen man to sin?)
When does one start to sin after they are born.? Day one, day 8, day 10...?
I think where I am going with these questions is that it is the Grace of God that saves.
Another way to put it is that God's Faithfulness is vaster than the Creation, and man's faithfulness is at best but a mustard seed....
Why can't you believe that a baby cannot be baptised and saved? Have the faith of a mustard seed?
Do you think it is the water that washes sins away?
Robert...thank you for being so respectful....

You wrote:

Yes, that is what baptism is for...plus, you receive a gift from God...the "gift" of the Holy Spirit aka the "indwelling" of the Holy Spirit...Acts 2:38...

You wrote:

Until you know the difference between good and bad...right and wrong...or understand what sin is....SIN IS AN ACT COMMITTED BY THE INDIVIDUAL....

Deuteronomy 1:39

39 And the <<<little ones>>> that you said would be taken captive,~~~your children who do not yet know good from bad~~~—they will enter the land. I will give it to them and they will take possession of it.

If children are not old enough to decide against Christ, are they old enough to decide for Christ?

Can an infant/small child act on this with his heart?

Romans 10:9-10

9 If you declare with YOUR MOUTH,“Jesus is Lord,” and believe in YOUR heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For it is with YOUR heart that YOU believe and are justified, and it is with YOUR MOUTH that you profess YOUR faith and are saved.

It DOES NOT say "father's mouth, mother's mouth, godfather's mouth, godmother's mouth, grandfather's mouth, or grandmother's mouth....it says YOUR MOUTH.

You wrote:

What about original sin?

This is where you fall into false teachings as there is NO such thing as original sin...

We DO NOT INHERIT the SINS of our fathers...

Ezekiel 18:18-20

18 <<<<<But his father will die for his own sin,>>>>> because he practiced extortion, robbed his brother and did what was wrong among his people.

19 “Yet you ask,‘Why does the son not share the guilt of his father?’ Since the son has done what is just and right and has been careful to keep all my decrees, he will surely live.

20 ~~~~~The one who sins is the one who will die.~~~~~[[[[The child will NOT share the guilt of the parent, nor will the parent share the guilt of the child.]]]]] <<<<<The righteousness of the righteous will be credited to them, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against them.>>>>>

You wrote:

Robert...would you let your 12 or 13 year old child get married???

I know my answer would be NO...

Marriage involves a lifelong commitment to your spouse that God has joined together....

It is the same with baptism....baptism involves a lifelong commitment to God....one commits for life to the God, who has joined together....

If your 12 or 13 year old child would not understand the commitment about marriage, then how would this same child understand the nature of such a commitment to God?

BOTH MARRIAGE AND BAPTISM ARE VERY SERIOUS COMMITMENTS!!!

We (as parents) are responsible for teaching our children when it comes to the seriousness of these commitments.

Don't expect me to "pat you on the back" when you and others distort the TRUTH and attack our Catholic Faith as well as my personal relationship to Jesus Christ.
Why do your amazing insights cause you to hold so much hatred for most Americans?

I say again -- why not walk your talk and live in a society that has a majority of "good" Catholics like yourself, and much fewer hated Prots?

When does a person like yourself put your beliefs in action?

sorry, Hank, but the Bible experiences indicate otherwise. those who received the Holy Ghost were Baptised after they had received that gift. Why is that?

My Experience(John 7:39) which is Biblical also proves that a person doesnt receive the Holy Ghost when they are Baptised in water since mine occurred 9 months and 1 days before I was Baptised in water.

tho Acts 2:38 says to repent, be Baptised and you will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, at no time is Peter indicating at a certain time when this Experience of this indwelling will occurr.

go by what the Bible clearly indicates ,and that is that no indwelling ever occurred when any person in the Bible was Baptsied.

and not what your church or any other church teaches. go by what the Bible clearly shows.I know what you have been taught and you believe that you have been taught correctly but your teachings and everybody elses teaching must conform to the examples given to us by God Himself.

I know the Bible says that Baptism washes away sin, but it doesnt.it is clearly misunderstood by many. it takes the Blood of Jesus to do that

I saw this article, you might enjoy reading it.http://www.answers2prayer.o rg/bible_questions/Answers/bap tism/wash_away.html

It is clear here that baptism doesn’t wash away sin, but is an outward declaration that we want to live with Jesus who is the only one who can forgive our sins. It cannot be intended that the external rite of baptism was sufficient to make you pure, but that it was an ordinance appointed by Jesus as a public expression of the washing away of sins, or of the purification of the heart.

Forgiveness of sins is obtained solely through faith in the Lord Jesus, Acts 10:43:”All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name."

Baptism is the visible sign of this. Paul summarizes this beautifully in 1 Cor 6:11:“And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.”

I like this testimony.

Water baptism is symbolic to the cleansing that must take place in the heart. The actual baptism is your outward expression to show the world that you are now united with Christ because your heart has changed and will continue to hold fast to that which God has told us.(Romans 10:9 -10)

There are only two prerequisites to the cleansing of sin: You must believe in your heart and confess with you mouth that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God. With the mouth confession is made and with the heart belief is made. The heart is circumcised into the newness of your new life. Just as Jesus was baptized, so too should we be baptized to show that we are one of His. This says to the world that we are not ashamed of the Gospel for it is the power of salvation to the Jews and to the Gentiles. Thank God for His amazing Grace.

There is but one thing that can wash away our sins: The Blood of Jesus which was shed at Calvary on Golgotha's Hill. The thief on the cross that asked Jesus to remember him was given these words by Jesus, "This day you will be with me in Paradise." He was not baptized. We are baptized out of obedience to the command given by Jesus. We are baptized because we love Him and we want to be like Him. There is power in the Blood. Jesus said "I came to seek and to save them that are lost. All we have to do is to open up and invite Him in and He will come in. Salvation is a free gift to us; all we have to do is invite Jesus in.

FACT -- The Catholic church obtained their information directly from the source, but kept it quiet for 24 years -- because???

FACT -- Then well after WW2 had begun, the RCC released this "amazing message" from Mary a few weeks after Mussolini's allies invaded Russia.

FACT -- In 1917, Mary supposedly threatened the world with WW2 unless, but the world is not informed until after the fact!!!

QUESTION -- Why would the RCC sit on such a warning to the world, until it was politically useful to them, thus allowing 50 million humans die per Mary supposed vengeance.

ANSWER -- the same reason the RCC sat on the "3rd Secret" for decades longer. It was all baloney and they knew it. But in their zeal, they turned Mary into a shameless, threatening narcissist.

I see our mistake! We are reading the bible! We should only be reading a few, preselected, verses!
A catholic knows that a man laying with a man as he would a women is wrong! But a trusted priest butt raping a young boy... god never said a word against that!!!
God also said that we should not bare false witness... but he never said anything about killing, bribing, threatening or hiding the the witness!
See! We just don't understand the bible. It's all there, you just have to know how to interpret, rationalize, twist, and/or ignore the written word!
We are told we should not read the Bible because we don't know which passages to ignore and which to accept.

My, how the Bible makes God out as some sort of angry little god, filled with weak human emotions.

It's as if God was stuck in an early Iron Age mentality and codified this mentality for all time.

Philip went into Samaria to preach the Gospel there. While he was there, miracles and wonders occurred by his ministry, and demons were cast out of many people. As a result they were baptized.
Acts 8:12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

They supposedly already "received" the Holy Ghost.

Acts 8:14-16 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John: Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)

Here is what occurred after the two apostles arrived.

Acts 8:17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

The above experience shows us that one does not "receive the Holy Ghost" automatically when one is baptized
