Yes these religious negotiations matter. But there was no concern during the Holocaust Of The Jews and as yet no major effort at teaching the Christian laity otherwise. And as there is no concern for the mass annihilation of Jewish communities in the Arab World, there is no church outcry for the current systematic persecution and elimination of Christian communities which were 40% of the Arab population 70 years ago, and down to 26% twenty years ago and now at 10% and dropping. So one has to ask if the present Vatican claims have any meaning.
