What's wrong with Pope Francis? I agree with him, I'm tired of hearing all the talk of abortion, gays, etc. There is alot more to this world than a few subjects. Everyone knows the church's standing on these subjects. Lets move on to other things, like obeying the 10 commandments, living as though Jesus was (and is)standing right next to us.
He didn't say anything twisted or changed his views on these social subjects. Get a life and praise our creator.
Catholic Girl,

The Catholic Church's standing on abortion is very clear: Catholic faithfuls are allowed it since most of the customers regarding abortion concoctions vend just within the immdediate perimeters of Roman Catholic churches!!!

And priestly practices of homosexuality is never taboo since a lot of them do it:

Homosexuality In The Catholic Church

"...In one of the very few studies based on hard data -- 1,500 interviews between 1960 and 1985 -- Maryland psychologist Richard Sipe, a former priest, concludes that about 20 percent of 57,000 U.S. Catholic priests are homosexual and that half of these are sexually active. But since 1978, Sipe believes, the number of gay priests has increased significantly; other therapists think the figure today may be closer to 40 percent...."

Gays are people too Elias, and priests are not saints.

"So you, too, outwardly appear righteous to men, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness."

Lol,

Yes, gays and priests are humans!!! But a priest who became a Vatican pope wwas never expected to have sex with animals:

Pope Benedict IX (1032 to 1048)

Gaining power and wealth from an early age as a result of his family's ties to the church, Benedict IX essentially inherited the title of pope since he was the nephew of both Pope John XIX and Pope Benedict VIII. He was only 20 years old, but quickly developed a reputation as being "cruel and immoral," according to "The Rise of the Medieval World, 500 – 1300" (Greenwood Publishing Group, 2002).

In fact, in his third book of dialogues, Pope Victor III wrote of Benedict IX's "rapes, murders and other unspeakable acts. His life as a pope so vile, so foul, so execrable, that I shudder to think of it," according to "The Spirit."

Saint Peter Damian had similar things to say of Benedict IX, describing him as "feasting on immorality" and "a demon from hell in the disguise of a priest," who sponsored orgies and routinely partook in bestiality, according to "The Spirit." In his final act of corruption as pope, Benedict IX decided that he wanted to pursue marriage, so he sold his holy title to his godfather for 1,500 pounds (680 kilograms) of gold.

Lol,

What I had posted was about a Vatican pope who was focused on bestiality!!! For he walked a mile with the Middle Eastern camel!!! They should be focused on something else!!!

Tha Vatican pope must now wake up and contact his minions in the Philippines!!! He must tell the Philippine Catholic bishops to withdraw from their secret bank accounts because of the immdediate needs of their Catholic faithfuls!!! He must also produce the missing Vatican billions from within!!!

No delayed action!!! No waiting from the Combined Federal Campaign and then claiming the contribution as the Vatican's love and concern for her faithfuls!!!

Report any Roman Catholic priestly conduct of hoarding relief goods and supplies!!! Report any body language that will be used by bishops and priests to signal the perpetration and perpetuation of "Colossal Racketeerings"!!!

Elias is nuts, dimented mind. Of course the catholic societies are on their way to help those poor people in Phillippines, it's our nature to do so. Where's your religions society at in helping these poor souls after this deviastating disaster? hiding in the corner of topix is my guess.

Francesco is confusing many good and faithful Catholics with his 'new morality'.
I do not believe for a second he is agreeing with the "new morality". It appears that Francis is facing the world & its brokenness more with humility and gratitude to God than with arrogance and self-righteousness. No wonder the traditionalists are unnerved by him.

One of my sister-in-laws is quite the catholic fanatic, you know the type. She is good but pushes the envelope to extremes which most likely isn't necessary. So now since our Pope Francis has made the statement of lets get moving on, etc. She is stating things like Pope Francis is an antipope, etc. This tells me she really doesn't understand meaning of antipope to name one. She is hurt by his statement because she and many others have put their whole heart and soul into the anti abortion, contraceptive issues and can not face the fact that there are other fish in the sea. So heart breaking.
