You can't cherry pick what you wanna believe.
End of days is there. And religion kills plenty 9/11 a good example :)
I agree that others things kill too that's obvious but religion is a made up thing.
There are thousands and thousands of made up gods.
I am not cherry picking anything. Prove the end days are here. It was not religion that caused 9/11. Fundamentalism, poverty and terrorism caused 9/11. Religion being a made up thing is your opinion.

Hindu, Buddha totally different gods and ways are you that ignorant?. Or could you just not make an argument for what is futile to argue.
You have no facts no science and no evidence so why bother.
Hindu is not a god but the name of a religion that encompasses many dieties. Buddha never considered himself a god and neither do his followers. I would have thought you would have known this.
Science is not faith. Facts are fine for science. Faith is not science so the having or not having of facts is meaningless when discussing facts.

Educate yourself. If you still believe after reading. Well you clearly have no logical reasoning.
Anyone with a computer and an ax to gring about religion can put up a website. Just proves someone has an ax to gring and time on their hands.

even if facts directly condradict your religious faith,

. EVOLUTION
. BIG BANG
. NO HISTORICAL RECORDS MADE OF A MAN WALKING ON WATER (ODD)
. DINOSAURS WHY NO MENTION OF THAT
. THE EARTHS AGE
. THE FACT THAT HE HAS NOT INTERVENED AND LET AWFUL THINGS HAPPEN LIKE THE HOLOCAUST, MEANS THAT IF HE DOES EXIST HE IS A PRICK

THE FACT THAT EVERY STORY IN THE BIBLE INCLUDING THE CONCEPTION THE RESURRECTION WERE ALL NICKED FROM PREVIOUS RELIGIONS????

discuss :)

do you not think its strange that all the facts stack up against it & you have zero, surely god would say hey I am here. If he is a jealous and vengeful as he says he is surely he would kill us all

Evolution and the Big Ban Theories in no way contradict my faith. You confuse me with fundamentalist Christians who take every word of the Bible as fact. Written history has not recorded every human act. That Jesus walked on water was noted by His followers that is enough for me. Dinosaurs and the earth's age are issues you need to clarify in that I have no idea what your point is on these. God a "prick"...that is an interesting take on things. Yes, bad things take place in the world and yet in the midst of great evils are still glimmers of hope as those try to do good in spite of the evil. These glimmers are God inspired. The conception of Christ and His resurrection does indeed have their beginings in earlier belief systems. Still the difference as far as I am concerned is that Christ is real and the fulfilment of these earlier belief systems. What you see as issues stacked against me seem pale when compared with what you attempt to build. Funny no reaction to your error as to Hindu deities and the Budda not claiming to be a god.

So you don't believe god created earth in seven days??
Again how are you picking the real from the fairytale ?
There's no instruction saying some are true and some are made up.
His followers oh yeah the Israelis mark & john, lol.
Like any good library there are many types of literature in the Bible: Poetic, love poems, meat cutting and hygene instruction manual, legal tome, epic, mythic, historic, proverb, travel journal. Genesis give two differing orders of creation. Seems obvious it is about Who and why not when and how. Also Catholics are not by and large fundamentalists.

I have never been taught that the Bible is to be used as a science book and therefore I never have. I was taught that the Bible teaches about the reality of God. There was no one writing down what God did to create the world. That God is the creator of all things is the point of Genesis not the days God did it in. Let science fill in the details that is what science is for. Actually Biblical scholars do in fact tease out those things that actually took place and those stories that did not happen (and like fairytales these stories have a purpose). The fact that you do not know this makes your posts more understandable.

I'm replying to this. Made a mistake there. Which is kind of irrelevant to the point I made anyway. The point was still made.
Faith is not science because it never ever ever could be and for no other reason.
All you have is 'you can't disprove it' which can work for any idiot saying anything.
Which places you on what side of "idiot" at this point? Faith does not want to be science and has no need to be science. You are overworking a theme that I already agree with.

Haha again a lack of research. You see all other previous gods related to yours that when yours did the previous ones tapped into something and were predicting the future. Oh my lol.
How ridiculous that sounds I mean just read it Hahahahaha.
These earlier belief systems had there gods very different to yours and like yours a lot of them where alive in the past so what youre saying makes zero sense.
Like I say your god is just one of the thousand of other gods that doesn't exist he promotes war to non believers. Sexism. Hates gays apparently. And some idiot who believes he's acting in the name of the unreal will ruin this place all because of a book that gives people an excuse to act in a disgusting manner.
That's my issue. All organized religion is bad.
The catholic church is one of the worst institutions man ever invented. And man did invent it all. But don't let the facts get your way
You are correct in that it's your "issue" Other than that your facts are also your "issue". God as I know God is very real. Can I prove this to you in a word, no. The question is why you and so many unbelievers gravitate to this site to try to convince believers not to believe. Who are you really trying to convince? It's definatly not working on me.

Science says different how can facts that can be proved and displayed be wrong?
The Bible is not a science textbook. Science has yet to fully explain all the "hows" of creation. There are scientists who do not believe if God. In that I know of no scientist that has come out with scientific proof that there is no God. There are scientisits who do believe in God. In that I know of no scientist that has come out with scientific proof of a God. This is taken on faith. One either has faith or one doesn't.

Because its stupid dangerous and a delusion and people in this day and age should know better.
Yet people in this "day and age" in spite of your wisdom to the contrary are still drawn to faith. Go figure.

Perhaps some of you still church go, on occasion then.
I don't.
Can not stand the blind allegiance to the Amen brotherhood.
Rather an important cult too if you are RC
And i am known as no.1 at Opus d.
After along battle for placings where no.2 who was no.1 before me took me to trial.
I remain triumphant.
Kicking us all out of bed the RC is.
I have been living the clothe without taking the clothe too long.
Without any assistance from the church: funding or otherwise.
But now it seems we must all go to college to learn our lessons.
I said i been working at it for twenty years: so they are being nice to me its apparent that i will be treated as a novice for two sermons and a slapped face.
Well its better then two years hard labour in the French Alps which someone got.
I think the church is calling last orders for Monks of a Carthusian bent.
So i hope i do not screw up on any exams that they have in store for me.
From fear it will be my last chance now i am 40 years old.
I am a wise sage who writes miraculously with his intellect. And cannot be bothered in to learning new tricks with my fingers.
I can't wait till this is all over.
And a final judgement has been made over lodgings one way or another.
I have been told i have both my halo and wings assured in heaven.
I am what you might call a demon saver.
I show the light to the lost and the forgotten.

"She awakes as an untouched virgin to find a skeleton of herself half naked in the bed opposite".
What do you do?
Well the last person on earth you tell is your doctor.
For he is liable to have you sectioned.
your priest once again he will have you sectioned.
You turn to me, and i get to work.
