for the horrendous crimes that the catholic church has perpetrated against the filipino people for centuries they should be outlawed and banished from the country.
instead the churches flock of mentally defective brainwashed sheep regal them and put them on pedestals and bow to their every word as if THEY WERE GOD HIMSELF.
the flips under-nourished uneducated weak and superstitious minds are a ripe field for picking and all religions know it and use them to their full advantage.

Now my dear Elias - how can that be true? You know the RCC doesn't approve of sex!
Sherlayne,

You are absolutely right!!! The Catholic Church imposes celibacy on the priesthood on the reason that sex is dirty but in actuality, the spurious religion is just avoiding spending for the families of priests and nuns that may ensue when there is marrige for them!!! Ex-Roman Catholic priest, Adrian Hastings, has thse to say:

"How then could I break a law of the Church forbidding me to marry, a law which I accepted with full consciousness when I was ordained in 1955? Because I do not believe it to be a just law or a good law, or a law which the Church had the right to make, and I am convinced that it does not express God's will for the Church today, if it ever did."

Reference: Adrian Hastings, In Filial Disobedience, p. 15)

Hastings points out that the Catholic law on priestly celibacy, a law forbidding the clergy to marry, does not express God's will. It is not a just law, neither a law which the Catholic Church had the right to make. If we have chosen to quote Hastings, it does not mean that we are maligning the Roman catholic Church. We are merely revealing the serious problem of the Catholic Church regarding her priests.

How true is the revelation of Adrian hastings, a former Roman Catholic priest, that priestly celibacy, the Catholic Church's law prohibiting priests to marry, does not express God's will?

"Yet, the value of that differentiation has been eroded by imposing celibacy, a characteristic of religious life, upon the whole priesthood by law and by nothing else than law. There is nothing in scripture, nothing in the early church, nothing in the sound tradition of Catholic theology to justify this law. It grew largely out of a growing but heretical belief that sex was somehow of itself impure and that therefore even sex blessed in the sacrament of marriage was deeply unsuitable for an ordained priest administering the holy things of God."

Reference: Adrian Hastings, In Filial Disobedience, p. 20)

The imposition of priestly celibacy, a Catholic law which is nowhere in the Holy Scripture, neither in the early Church nor in the "sound tradition of the Church" is one of the reasons why many priests have abandoned their vocation. They have decided eventually to leave the priesthood, their church, after waging a losing battle to have the unscriptural and unjust law repealed.

The Roman Catholic Church teaches that sex is impure even though it is done from within the confines of marriage, thus, their prohibition for priests to marry!!!

Lol,

Stop being an ignoramus!!! Roman Catholics worship not only their saints but also their images and relics:

"13. Is the worship of saints confined to their person?

"No, it extends also to their relics and images.

"14. What do we call relics?

"We call relics: 1. The remains of the body of a saint who has been canonized or beatified by the Church; 2. The objects which have belonged to the saints, or which have touched their bodies: such as their linen, coffins, etc."

In Pilipino:

Reference:(Catechism Of Christian Doctrine, No. 3, p.87)

What a revelation! Roman Catholics worship not only their saints but also their images and relics! And what are reclics? The remains of the body of a saint - a tooth, a piece of the pelvic bone, a strand of hair, objects that belong to the saint or anything that might have touched the body. These are so numerous but because they belong to the category of relics they must be worshipped by Catholics!

Improve you low i.Q.!!! Stop kissing the underwear of spurious saints in the Catholic Church!!!

One of the damning statements made by ex-Roman Catholic priests, Adrian Hastings, is posted below:
"the power of the Church (Catholic) has been used in history to do the devil's work."
Reference:(Hastings, Adrian. In Filial Disobedience, p. 127.)
One of the devil's work was done by Pope Alexander VI of the Roman Catholic Church together with his lover, Lucrezia, when attending a dinner in the apartment of Caesar in the Vatican!!! Fifty naked Roman harlots chased chestnuts that were scattered all over the floor and the prosties were all naked Roman Catholics!!!
"On October 30, 1501, Burchard described a dinner in the apartment of Caesar in the Vatican at which fifty naked Roman harlots chased chestnuts that were scattered over the floor, while Pope Alexander (VI) and Lucrezia looked on with amusement."

Reference:(Reference:(Paul Williams, Everything You Always Wanted to Know About the Catholic Church But Were Afraid to Ask For Fear of Excommunication. New York: Doubleday, 1989, p.19)

Yet, the pope who was amused while watching naked Roman Catholic prosties, was one of those who claimed that he is the Vicar of Christ:

"VICAR OF CHRIST. The Pope, visible head of the Church on earth, acting for and in the place of Christ. He possesses supreme ecclesiastical authority in the Catholic Church. This title for the Pope dates from at least the eight century and gradually replaced the former title,'Vicar of St. Peter.' Its biblical basis is Christ's commission of Peter to 'feed my lambs, feed my sheep'(John 21:15-17)."

Reference: The Modern Catholic Dictionary, page 561.

So, are popes "vicars of Christ"??? A BIG NO!!! What are they "vicars" of??? OF THE OLD SERPENT, SATAN!!!

Get out from the Roman Catholic Church!!! You have nothing to lose but the misbehavior, arrogance, and the un-Christian acts of the popes and priests!!!

This is how an author Peter De Rosa described a Roman Catholic pope, Innocent III:

"In pursuit of his aims, he shed more blood than any other pontiff. He profoundly misunderstood the Gospel, the Church, the papacy, even the distinction between good and evil. His marvelous perversion of all these is evidenced in a single breathtaking statement:'"Every cleric must obey the Pope, even if he commands what is evil; for no one may judge the Pope'."

Reference: De Rosa, Peter. Vicars of Christ: The Dark Side of the Papacy, Page 73. New York: Crown Publishers, Inc., 1988.

Do you see the dysfunctionality of Roman Catholicism??? The book says,'"Every cleric must obey the Pope, even if he commands what is evil; for no one may judge the Pope'."

Look at how blasphemous the papacy is!!! They cannot be judged by God and Christ although they committed the most heinous of crimes!!! Can it be denied that the popes of the Catholic Church killed those who did not want to follow their doctrines?

In a book of the Catholic Church entitled, The truth About the Inquisition, written by John A. O'Brien, Nihil Obstat by Thomas E. Dillon, Imprimatur by John F. Noll, on pages 47-48, this is stated:

"Church's Responsibility....The [Catholic] Church cannot escape responsibility for the use of torture nor for the burning of victims at the stake. The Church in the person of her pontiffs was responsible for the use of torture; this cruel practice was introduced by Innocent lV in 1252. The pontiff tries to defend the use of torture by classifying heretics with thieves and murderers; a mere comparison is his only argument. This law of Innocent lV was renewed and confirmed by Alexander lV on November 30, 1259, and by Clement lV on November 3, 1265."

"Neither can the [Catholic] Church escape responsibility for sending heretics to be burnt to death at the stake. The mere subterfuge of having the victim turned over to the secular arm cannot hide the fact that the popes repeatedly insisted under pain of excommunication and interdict upon rulers enforcing the death penalty against heretics.

"Inquisition - Predominantly Ecclesiastical .... Despite these well established facts, Count De Maistre tries to whitewash the Church and the popes even of complicity in the execution of heretics, saying:'All that is terrible and cruel about this tribunal, especially, the death penalty, was due to the State.'"

Through the testimony of history and of books of the Catholic Church, the papacy cannot escape responsibility for bringing about killings of those who did not follow them!!! Death was the punishment for those who refused to follow their doctrines!!!

Lol,

One of the deteriorating moments of the Catholic papacy was when their very own priest exposed the sexual madness of a pope who claimed to be the "Vicarivs Filii Dei" (Vicar of the Son of God)!!!The damning statements made by ex-Roman Catholic priests, Adrian Hastings, is posted below:

Lol,

You make me laugh!!! Purgatory is but another spurious teaching of the low I.Q. Roman Catholic Church!!!Indeed, Catholicism has been criticized particularly for its stand on purgatory. History attests that the rampant abuse in the selling and buying of indulgences impelled the posting of the famous 95 Theses on the door of the Wittenberg Cathedral in 1517. By such initiative, Martin Luther was said to have "set in motion the forces that were to break up the universal [Catholic] church into warring sects" (A Story of European Civilization, p. 372), thus triggering the dawn of Protestant revolution.

Since then, purgatory has always been in the target list of Catholic detractors who have taken it upon themselves to assail its unbiblical doctrines. In his book, I Was A Priest, former priest Lucien Vinet discloses:

"Purgatory, like Mass, has no foundation in Holy Scripture. Christ and the first Christians never talked about it and never knew of its supposed existence." (p. 44)

Even practicing priests confirm the lack of scriptural proof to support the belief. In Purgatory: Doctrine of Comfort and Hope, author Joseph Kenney admits that, "Nowhere in the Scripture does the word, "Purgatory", occur" (p. 2). He also admits that scriptural references to purgatory are but few. What is available, he says, are "inklings" from the New Testament, but only because they are brusquely twisted and exaggerated to establish anything closely related to the concept of purgatory. But for the most part, the purgatory doctrine does not have anything much to rely on but a passage from II Maccabees, which is an apocryphal Jewish writing and is not a part of the inspired word of God. Thus, "In the last analysis, " Kenney says, "the Catholic doctrine does not rest on any direct Scriptural proof but on tradtion." (p.3)

Such disclosure makes it understandable why many ask the same question posed by author Loraine Boettner, who wrote:

"The doctrine was proclaimed an article of faith in 1438, by the Council of Florence, and was later confirmed by the Council of Trent, in 1548. But does any intelligent person believe that if such a palce as purgatory is described in the Bible it would have taken the church fathers 600 years to discover it, and another 1,000 years to confirm it?" (Roman Catholicism, p. 229)

In addition, Boettner goes on to quote several other authors who are equally disgusted with the Catholic teaching on purgatory, calling it nothing more than a "gigantic fraud," and a "colossal racket" meant to extort large sums of money from the bereaved at a time when their hearts are sore and are least able to think logically about such matters (Ibid., p.224).

In fairness, conscious efforts have been undertaken by the Catholic Church to somewhat appease its detractors as what is evident in most recent writings of Catholic defenders. An example of this is Joseph Kenney's work that we have previously quoted. In its closing part, less emphasis was laid on indulgences and the Mass as a means of helping the souls in purgatory. Instead, the stress was on the supposed significance of prayers for the dead (Purgatory: Doctrine of Comfort and Hope, p.7).

Post 2...End.

Grossly unfounded

However, the absence of biblical pronouncements supporting the doctrine of purgatory remains an issue that the Catholic Church has to contend with. Not only is the word "purgatory" not found in Scripture; the entrire foundation of such belief is against the teaching of the Bible:

"After a person is dead, he can no longer show love or hate or jealousy. And he will never again share in the things that happen here on earth." (Eccl. 9:6, New Century Version)

When a person passes away, he ceases to have any share on whatever his living loved ones do in his behalf. Neither would the prayers and sacrifices offered for the dead change their final destiny because God, through His Son Jesus Christ, will judge everyone according to his own works, and not the works of others:

"For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works." (Mt. 16:27, New King James Version)

Contrary to the Catholic belief that each person receives the judgment of God immediately after he dies, the Bible teaches that the great day of reckoning is on the Second Advent of our Lord Jesus Christ. On that day, each soul will go to either one of two destinations: heavenly kingdom for Christ's sheep or everlasting fire for those whom Christ calls "goats" (Mt. 25:31-34, 41).

The Catholic Church's perpetuation of the belief on purgatory may stand to reason . But the undeniable fact remains that purgatory is a dogma taken from tradition and not from the Bible. True Christians can only dismiss such an unfounded belief, as our Lord Jesus Christ Himself instructs those who follow human traditions in place of God's commandments:

"You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to traditions of men." (Mk. 7:8, New International Version)

Sherlayne,

Not only as a counterpart but as an addition to the Holy Trinity!!! She is being taught by the Catholic Church as more powerful than the true God!!!

Do Catholic mentors include God among those under the sovereignity of the "humble Mary"?

"Mary, being altogether transformed into God by grace and by the glory which transforms all the saints into Him ... that in heaven and on earth everything, even God Himself, is subject to the Blessed Virgin,... "

Reference: De Montfort, St. Louis Grignion, True Devotion To The Blessed Virgin Mary, p. 17. New York: The Montfort Fathers, 1941.)

"The saints have said many beautiful things about Mary ... They knew that there were no limits to her power, because she has power over God Himself."

Reference: De Montfort, St. Louis Grignion, True Devotion To Mary, p. 3. Montfort Publications, 1956.)

"St. Bernardine of Siena declares that all obey Mary's commands, even God..."

Reference: Alberione, J. Glories and Virtues of Mary, p. 177. Philippines: St. Paul Publications, 1960.)

By a mere stroke of his pen, Louis De Montfort had "transformed" Mary into God to the extent "that everything in heaven and on earth, even God Himself is subject to the Blessed Virgin."

Thus, the "humble Mary," the servant of God, she who was a mere creature of God has been catapulted by the Roman Catholic Church to a position of extraordinary prominence, nay to the position of the Most High!

Advance Happy New year to you!!!
