I wish the Bishop the best of luck and hope he carry a big gun and have a mean nasty dog living with him.

Good to see the diocese has a new leader to protect it's assets and to keep it's flock in the dark. They have financial trouble, why wouldn't they? You have to be crazy to give these people money. And please keep your kids out of their schools. Embrace true faith and pure religion not their firm of corrupt theater.

I hate to say it, but I agree.

This new guy

has apparently been the full bishop of a very scenic but uninhabited Irish island since 2006 (uninhabited since 1969, but well-bishoped since then)

and there's some disagreement regarding payment of his traveling expenses for some celebration he'll be going to in Kilrush, County Clare (on the 'mainland') next month - so you'll all likely be paying for THAT right off the bat...

Good luck with him.

He's living on Daniel's Farm Rd at the cemetery in northeast Trumbull - the place looks like it can be well-defended.

BTW, the guy's even got his own wiki page... kinda spooky here.

I just saw the picture on the front page of Sunday's post. With that smile he looks like anthony weiner wearing a hat and carrying a stick. Nose just isn't quite hooked enough though.

Heh, pretty interesting - the island didn't get its FIRST bishop until AFTER all the people were gone. Guess you can't BE a bishop without having some little patch of dirt to call their own. Picturesque place - I wonder if he squeezed any money from the tourists visiting it.

And, if you go look back thru all the bishops of Bridgeport, you'll see they were all first-timers after being 'dirt-patch bishops'. AND it seems that little Irish island has only BEEN used for 'dirt-patchers'. Kind of like a diocese with 'training-wheels'?
