Vatican criticizes court ruling on gays' children

Jan 12, 2013 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: Bellingham Herald

In its decision Friday, the Court of Cassation said there was no "scientific certainty or experience-based data" to support the father's claims that the child's development was being damaged by living with his mother and her female partner.

It's straight parents divorced or married, that keep screwing up their kids lives.

The Vatican is anti-science. What would anyone expect from them?

The simple truth is irrelevant, but their personal beliefs should be law.

What is causing the spread of these crises in the human family is the constant introduction of bias, hatred and intolerance into the debate; very often coming from the mouth of his papalness himself. He regularly tries to convince the world that they should hate and attack any families that don't exactly match his definition of a family, even though he is not, and never will be, a part of such a family himself.

As I understand his less than reasoned words, as well as those of his sycophants, if a couple is divorced, their children should be taken from them and given to a family that currently has a married man and woman at its head. The same for the child of a widow/er. Or a woman who has a child out of wedlock. Or children born to a gay couple.

I'm absolutely certain this is what Jesus would do were he here, because we all know how he hated children.(I shouldn't have to do this, but I will mention that that was sarcasm. With the low intellect of a couple of dweebs who troll this site, it's now necessary to point out what is obvious to the rest of us lest they fly into a rage and redirect the discussion.)

The pope can just go to hell. No, wait. He deserves someplace WORSE than hell. He can go to Texas. And that, boys is girls, is NOT sarcasm. But you all knew that.

The same way that ANY infertile couple would. And they can adopt in the same ways as well.

It's not a difficult concept, dear.

Genitalia are not key components of parenting. That you believe that they are the most important part of parenthood shows you have a deviant mind.

Just PROVE that gay people don't raise well-adusted and happy kids.

Blather all day, but unless you can prove your claims, you just look silly.

What does the pope know about raising kids? He should stick to what he knows best- sexually molesting little boys.

And while we're at it: Terror with a Twist....Who cares? Gov Homo....who cares? Any of the other phobic jerk wads who troll this site trying to rile the regular posters with their hate filled and ludicrous rhetoric...who cares?

We are better than them in every imaginable way, something we need to remember when trying to decide whether to respond to one of their childish posts. If we ignore them, they will eventually find someone else to annoy. All they're looking for is something to make them feel necessary and important while they're screwing up their courage to finally turn the handle on their closet door.

So for now, let us pledge together to say nothing to any of them. I so pledge.

They do much better than that.. They take in unwanted children (unwanted by their oh, so ready to irresponsibly breed them parents, that is)and they give them shelter, education and the love that has been denied them by those that should be responsible for them in the first place.. Because after all is said and done it's quality in parenting that counts, not the sex of the parents.. That shouldn't be so hard to understand.. except, of course, by the mentally retarded..

Keep rationalizing sh!t stain. Any child placed into an environment where two people of the same sex are taking up the responsibilities as parents denies said child the basic human rights to a 'balanced' male and female parenthood. It has nothing to do with sexuality and everything to do with the welfare of a child. Something the state and kweers will never get right. The kweers most typical loser argument is to rationalize, once again, the sad failures of other parents. Gays don't want you to see that their so called relationship is a defect and a failure right from the start since the two of them on their own could NEVER conceive any child on THEIR OWN.
And please do STOP saying "straight" parents. The only parents that exist are parents, step parents, and fosterparents. You sick minded fool!
If they are all so "straight" how come there are so many abandoned, neglected, abused and even murdered children? Many of them are, in fact, as twisted as twisted can get..

You must mean evangelists...the demographic with the highest divorce rates, highest adultry rates, highest spousal abuse rates, and highest rates of child abuse/neglect/abandonment.
