There are 894 comments on the The Washington Post story from Nov 28, 2013, titled If Rush Limbaugh and Sarah Palin dona t like the pope, they wona t care much for Jesus. In it, The Washington Post reports that:

In response to Pope Francis' first Apostolic Exhortation , in which the pontiff denounced "trickle-down theories which assume that economic growth, encouraged by a free market, will inevitably succeed in bringing about greater justice and inclusiveness in the world," these two paragons of the far right - both of whom regularly invoke the teachings ... How much money has the fed pumped into Wall street?$85 billion a month for how long, oh wait, it down to $75 billion now!
Bush had a 5.2% unemployment rate and the liberals still b*tched. We are barely keeping up with population growth and it seems like each month the number are re-vised down instead of up. Are you counting the people that have STOPPED looking for jobs. Welfare up, food stamps up, unemployment for 99 weeks seriously!
Government regulations CAUSED the housing market to burst. Democrats were warned but did nothing. Why isn't Frank, Dodd and Schumer under oath answering questions or in jail?
One war not two separate wars. The media did a real good job of separating them for political reasons only!
No Obama wants to play golf, or hang out with his celebrity friends, use the IRS against his opponents, forget Fast and Furious, or AP and Benghazi while men are calling for help, instead of believing in his strategy that sent 30,000 extra soldiers to a war he thinks will fail or get to the bottom of these scandals!
George Bush made countless statements bragging on his housing numbers. Why? Because he ordered the banks to loan to anyone and everyone. Dodd/Frank never made public comments encouraging poor Americans to buy homes they couldn't afford, but Bush did. When the economy collapsed at the end of 07, Bush said in his state of the union address that the state of the union was strong. He blatantly lied, one of many, MANY lies he made to cover up his shitty presidency that brought this country to the brink of economic collapse.

How quickly you conservaturds forget. Americans will never forget what that idiot did to us. We never recovered after 9/11 which wouldn't have happened if our CIC actually did his job instead of working out, watching baseball, clearing brush and taking 879 vacation days, more vacation days than the prior 5 presidents combined.

May Bush and Dick rot in hell for all time. Their hatred of America and Americans are the reason we are no longer the greatest country in the world.

This is HIS economy now! This is HIS debt! HIS unemployment! HIS MESS that NO ONE wants to hold him responsible for! WHY?
No need to boo-hoo !!!!!!!!!!

Our President took full responsibility a long time ago - kinda surprised you didn't notice. Then again, when you walk around with your head up your azz it must be difficult to notice much of anything.

Rush is just a fat idiot, no one really cares about him.
So on one hand, "reTHUGlicans", have screwed everything up and on the other hand they have done nothing. So which is it? cant have it both ways.

<quoted text>Well you are half right, zippy.
Any idiot knows the price of food, clothes, goods, all go up every year. The only things that go down in price are crappy made products from China that you have to replace multiple times so in reality, they really aren't cheaper but China seems to be smarter than us in that respect. Of course, China enjoys slave labor. Most people there earn $1000 per year. That's it. In the U.S. you're only considered poor if you earn $12,000 or less so most people in China would kill to earn 12 times here what they earn there.
Here in the U.S., wages have stagnated so with the price of everything climbing on top of stagnant wages, we have a growing gap between the rich and the poor.
It's not President Obama's fault. It's corporate America who has chosen to pay it's workers unlivable wages while it pays it's CEO's $100 million per year, hoards their earnings and refuses to hire new workers or invest in the country it's making billions on.
I won't call you a name. It's sad that you're so close minded so I won't add insult to injury. Just keep blaming the black man in the white house. That seems to be working soooooo well for the GOP.....not!
We were told how to get the economy going. And progressives do everything to quell it for their special interests. The result is more and more people getting paid off by government and a population that is beholden to our politicians. Anyway I won't call you a name either. And er know you are close minded. Tens of millions of guns are being purchased as I keep telling you but you are the open minded ones so you claim. America is going down and a new one is arising. It is not going to be progressive either. Totalitarian under civilian control or military junta. That are our choices when the time comes. Now clean up the messes you made and I will start believing progressive agendas again. But you can't. Irresponsible actions run hand in hand with progressive ways of living charging the more responsible for it while lambasting the rich. Every time i read and see stories of abuse by government employees or your voters I lament it for now. The turnaround is coming though. In fact its here. The reduced amount of fiat currency due to a failing economy kept afloat with endless printing to prop the financial system up can not be done for the enxt three decades as our demographics will be way top heavy with senior citizens taking their social security/medicare they earned over the last few decades of taxes stolen from them by the politicians. Watch how they vote when the politicians pursue their death panel agendas to keep the insane policies going. Voters on both sides will choose a candidate that answers to them with payoffs. Like you do now and have been. And the candidate may even be honest to the point where he will make tough decisions of the parasites also to cut costs. yeah, you can see many people living under one roof again. Many empty homes and an economy swirling down like toilet water. Prices want to drop. And government won't let it. So the final results will be a lethargic economy for many years and a worse downturn when it gets here....No name calling. Just sadness for you and others like you who have no concept and concern how you are screwing over your neighbors.

Typically of you and your kind, that's the opposite of the truth.

Progressives know how to get the economy going - stimulus. And reTHUGlicans have fought that EVERY STEP OF THE WAY, especially under Obama, who they could not stand to get credit for any recovery.

Special interests, the ones with money, vote reTHUGlican. And that party is the one that has sabotaged our recovery FROM DAY ONE.

Deal...

ReTHUGgies won't do anything to fix the problems they caused; they'd rather blame them on Obama and Dems.

That clear enough for you, putz, or do you need a download into that microchip emplanted in your neck?

Screwing over my neighbors? WTF are you talking about? My neighbors....all of them, work not including a few recent retirees. My husband and I each own our own business and are doing well. We pay our taxes. We pay our bills. We vote in all elections. We've raised great kids. We're both well educated.

If that's 'screwing over our neighbors', so be it. I guess you live in some alter reality where hard work, a good education and cleaning living is bad. Yet another bizarre republican sentiment I guess.

You and Mike Huckabee should hang out. He can tell you how woman are so fricken horny that they need free birth control pills from the gubbermint and you can tell him how progressives are screwing over their neighbors.

Yuck Yuck and Yee Haw Y'all! The 2016 republican line up is already a HOOT and a HOLLER and it's not even primary time.

The "Kenyan" has more than "two years" in the White House. He has all of 2014, all of 2015 and all of 2016 as President so as usual, your ability to do math sucks as much as your ability to debate like an adult.
Enjoy the next 3 years with President Obama as YOUR MASTER. I know I sure will.
Ok... Obama is a lame duck. lets see who the republicans put forward in the next election. Reagan was able to inspire people and give them hope for a better future. There is no one on the conservative side of the isle who can do that today. The next republican candidates biggest problem will not be Hillary Clinton. It will be the kooks and freaks in his own party. The democrats were once splintered by extremists. Much as conservatives refuse to admit it, Bill Clinton moved the party a step toward the center. The republicans need the same sort of leader. I thought McCain was that sort of leader... until he picked Sarah Palin to run with him. How's this for a nightmare election...
