You guys are nuts. Have you read the text ofbhis interview?

His text says that love and salvation should be our priority vs. solely insisting on abstinence from abortion, homosexual marriage, and birth control. He did NOT say that these were acceptable at all. Here is the interview excerpt in question from August of 2013, in the original Italian with my translation (I am a native Italian):

Non possiamo insistere solo sulle questioni legate ad aborto,
matrimonio omosessuale e uso dei metodi contraccettivi. Questo
non è possibile. Io non ho parlato molto di queste cose, e questo mi
è stato rimproverato. Ma quando se ne parla, bisogna parlarne in
un contesto.

Translation:
We cannot insist (cannot preoccupy ourselves) only on questions tied to abortion, homosexual marriage, and use of contraceptives. This is not possible. I do not speak about these things often, and this has gotten me reprimanded. But when one speaks of these things, it is necessary to speak of them in context.

Il parere della Chiesa, del resto, lo si conosce, e io sono
figlio della Chiesa, ma non è necessario parlarne in continuazione.
Gli insegnamenti, tanto dogmatici quanto morali, non sono
tutti equivalenti.

Translation:
The viewpoint of the Church, moreover, is known, and I am a son of the Church, but it is not necessary to speak of them continuously (still referring to abortion, homosexuality, birth control). The teachings (of the Church), as much dogmatic as moral, are not equivalent.

Translation
A pastoral missionary is not obsessed by the disjointed transmission of a multitude of doctrines to impose insistently (with insistence). The message of a missionary focuses on the essential, on the necessary, which is also that which arouses and appeals more, that stirs the heart (makes the heart burn), as (it did) to the disciples of Emmaus.

Dobbiamo

Translation
Therefore, we must find a new equilibrium, otherwise the moral foundations (buildings) of the Church risks falling like a house of cards, risks losing the freshness and the aroma of the Gospel. The evangelical proposition must be simpler, more profound, and more irradiant. It is from this proposition that later come the moral consequences.

In other words, we firmly believe as we always have--we're just going to talk about it a lot less-in the hopes people will forget we really are hypocrites and azzholes.??

The Sodom and Gomorrah scam has always been about manipulating homosexuals to betray them selves in order to breed the concubines and but goy predators that gratify the rich and keep them in power.
The act of self betrayal creates the self loathing needed to turn homosexuals into the manipulating B- words and Q- words that will do anything for money.
They gratify sexually to get what they want but they get rich keeping the rich in power by controlling, punishing and/or eliminating any of their own people that don't submit and/or support their cycle of insanity.

Yeah, I think you summed it up succinctly. But you should have credited Martin Luther for using his quote.

No need to credit Martin Luther as I wasn't quoting him. Believe it or not, those words actually came out of my own head.

order to breed predators that will do anything for money.
It's not their fault that the rich enticed their parents with incentives to make babies like it was like a job. A job with more bennies for every baby they produced.
Even if they were too crazy and/or stupid to take care of themselves and/or respect the rights of others,
Even if they snuck into the country willing to do the jobs of the people that paid taxes used to breed them by doing their and their children's jobs for half and were willing to do what ever it took sexually to get them- and then compete with them and their offspring that you also paid taxes used to breed them for all the things needed to survive.
God fu*king damn the manipulating B words responsible for this insanity!

Instead of paying them to breed, it's time to start paying people too stupid and/or crazy to take care of themselves and respect the rights of others- not to make babies- especially if they use drugs, alcohol and/or cigarets.

Dysfunctional children come out just like their parents and the way they raise them and then give everybody what they deserve for paying taxes given to their dysfunctional parents to breed them. the crazy, stupid, dysfunctional children that our government forced tax paying Americans to pay taxes used as incentives to breed them.

The Catholic Church has made no "stunning reversal on contraception." The confusion comes from using the term "birth control" interchangeably with the word "contraception." One type of birth control the Church is not against. The other type of birth control the Church is against. The Church has NEVER been opposed to natural birth control. The Church has ALWAYS been opposed to ARTIFICIAL birth control.. commonly called "contraception." Natural birth control would be in using the God made natural periods of infertility occurring in a woman's reproductive cycle. Artificial birth control, or contraception, would be in using unnatural devices such as condums or jells that, as Pope John Paul II said, "puts an unnatural barrier between love and life."

Religion is at the root of so many of the worlds problems just like our laws are at the root of so many criminal's problems! Not too long ago ATHEISTIC Communism murdered 62 MILLION people. IF these Atheists thought you were a possible threat to them they would kill you, kill your family, and kill all of the friends of each member of your family. You are much more than "worm food." Just accept that all CREATION proves the necessary existence of a CREATOR, and get on with admitting you are accountable to Him, so you can begin to enjoy the new life he wants you to have.

I'll have a word with him when I shake off this mortal coil. FFS
