Sorry, but only a fool would refuse to see that giving out a Papal blessing to one who insituted the death penalty for homosexuals IS endorsement of same.
So you took a falsehood and tried to run with it, sorry bitler, you are wrong, the Pope is a kind and gentle man who speaks for Christ, he never wishes harm to anyone. He is praying for you and your ilk, the ones who want to persecute the Church by lies and your hatred. Yes, he is praying for you and the others who think that making up stories will hurt the Church. And I am also, I am following what Christ said to do, to pray for our enemies.

Completely WRONG. Benny is NOT a "kind and gentle man who speaks for Christ". He completely ignores (now as well as in the past) the pedophile priest scandal, shuffles molesters around to other parishes, and promoted roger mahoney from the Diocese of Los Angeles to some higher-up Vatican post, also ignoring the FACT that mahoney also did priest-shuffling.

The pope needs to be fired, escorted to the back door, stripped of his keys, pension, and little red Prada shoes, and have the door SLAMMED in his face. All of his pension needs to go to the poor and suffering worldwide.

Shows that the writer wanted to spread hatred by making up stories. I see it all the time now, all over the media suckers like bitler and others eat it up like candy. These people persecute the Church for what she stands for, not supporting birth control, abortion and gay marriage. When the pagans persecuted the Christians in ancient times they put Christians to death for their belief in Christ and following a Christian life, which meant not supporting immoral lifestyles. The same is happening today except we are not put to death...yet. The Pope is a kind and gentle man who is praying for your fools souls . Read up about the martyrs of Uganda who were martyred rather than have same sex relations with the king. Many were burned etc. I am glad 99% of the population are not like bitler and her ilk. Keep on making up stories bitler, we are being blessed everytime you put your filth on topix.

Ummmm
.
Perhaps you didn't read the headline for this chat room
.
The pope further disgraced the catholic church by endorsing a mass murderer in his first tweet ever
.
Are you suggesting he just has fat fingers and can't hit the spot on his Ipad?
.
Personally I think they need to run a ground wire from the tit on his hat down to the Ipad to prevent shorting out the papal bluetooth system

Read a Bible and put end to your ignorance. Are you aware in your ignoarance that it was Christ himself that destoyed Sodom not even being able to find 10 righteous men within it's walls?
In the Sodom story, the men of the town were straight, not gay.

And God considered Lot and his family righteous, even though Lot tried to toss his virgin daughters out to be raped by the (supposedly gay) mob, and those daughters in turn instigated sex with their own father to re-populate the world?

Lovely story of a "righteous" family.

The church should be persecuted for trying to enforce it's own religious beliefs on OTHERS that do not share that belief.

It's no different than forcing a Catholic to live under sharia law.

Would you support that?

Read up on the attempts to kill and persecute innocent gay folks in Uganda, something that the Church supports.

Hardly a "kind and gentle" personality.

Absolutely heart warming, it brings a tear to my eye.

This bible righteous law also inspires me:

Leviticus 19:20-22

And whosoever lieth carnally with a woman, that is a bondmaid, betrothed to an husband, and not at all redeemed, nor freedom given her; SHE shall be scourged; they shall not be put to death, because SHE was not free. 21 And HE shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, even a ram for a TRESPASS offering. 22 And the priest shall make an atonement for HIM with the ram of the TRESPASS offering before the LORD for HIS sin which HE hath done: and the sin which HE hath done shall be forgiven him.

Sounds like justifiable rape to me! She is to be whipped/beaten, no "forgiveness" for her, and he just needs to hop down to the local boys club with a gift and all is GOOD!!! Then they wonder how things happen like New Delhi. Of course outdated male written phallic worshipping documents have nothing to do with it!

Jude 7 records that Sodom and Gomorrah "acted immorally and indulged in unnatural lust." Ezekiel says that Sodom committed "abominable things" (Ezek. 16:50), which could refer to homosexual and heterosexual acts of sin. Lot even offered his two virgin daughters in place of his guests, but the men of Sodom rejected the offer, preferring homosexual sex over heterosexual sex (Gen. 19:8Ė9). Ezekiel does allude to a lack of hospitality in saying that Sodom "did not aid the poor and needy" (Ezek. 16:49). So homosexual acts and a lack of hospitality both contributed to the destruction of Sodom, with the former being the far greater sin, the "abominable thing" that set off Godís wrath.

But the Sodom incident is not the only time the Old Testament deals with homosexuality. An explicit condemnation is found in the book of Leviticus: "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.... If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall be put to death, their blood is upon them" (Lev. 18:22, 20:13).

Yeah?? WHO in their "right mind" cares about a book written by men to justify the laws "they" set in place????? justify this if you can:

Jude 7's interpretation derives from a very fringe view of the time, and contradicts Isaiah.
