It is a shame that Monsignor Ganswein could not pursuade Pope Benedict to remain at the helm. While the Pope's decision to step down took a great deal of courage and significant self insight, it set a dangerous precedent. The Pope is elected for life and because he cannot be forced out of office he is free to act according to the dictates of his faith and is much less susceptible to manipulation. And while Benedicts dignity and respect was only increased by his humility, the office of the papacy has been somewhat diminished. And it inflicted on the faithful this loose canon from Argentina who will do great damage to the church.

Archbishop Georg Gänswein, there's a man I hope he becomes a cardinal then POPE.
I have wonderful thoughts about Georg Gänswein.
