Vatican City, Sep 10, 2013 / 02:02 pm .- Poland's new Vatican ambassador Piotr Nowina-Konopka says that Pope Francis will not back down in helping resolve the Syrian conflict peacefully.

..... All popes are supposed to follow Jesus' lifestyle and teachings. It's very likely that Jesus would similarly have done his best to resolve the Syrian crisis with only diplomatic means, never using violence, nor with supplying arms to one side of the conflict.
