Does anyone really know what the unforgivable sin is? I've heard opinions, but nothing concrete. I've always been curious about that.

I know you're a true friend; so is Pax. I just give up, what can I do? I'm not saying I don't have a little time left - who knows - I just know it's "decline time".
I may be here for a while, I honestly don't know. But I thank you for everything.
SHERLAYNE:
I am certainly NOT preaching at you... I;m no preacher. But I MUST say, please, DO NOT GIVE UP.
That is exactly what Satan would love you to do.
You already know Pax and I are praying for you, Sherl.
Others, no doubt.
Others Pax or I may not even know.
Keep asking God to HELP YOU, and HE WILL.

You DO have friends, Sherlayne, and we love you. Why not try treating yourself and hubby to a SPECIAL outing just for you two? Go out for lunch, or dinner.... go to a special show... a moonlight cruise with dinner on-board...
Sherl, I will be 64 next month. Some days, when the arthritis is really acting up, I feel like 98.. and need morphine to kill the pain. Other days, I feel like a 20-year old.
Not trying to draw attention to me by any means, but dear, PLEASE do not give up.
ATTITUDE is over half the battle.
CALL ME, please. I will try my very best to help you, dear, I promise that.
May God bless and encourage you both.

Up until 1977 divorced and remarried catholics were excommunicated from the church. When the church started to realize they started losing members they squashed that and started doleing out more indulgences to keep catholics in the flock.
Somewhere down the road the vatican will allow catholic priests to marry. The churches reason then will be "the time is right"
UNBELIEVABLE!
Not so. The first thing that COULD happen is to allow married men to be ordained. That is VERY different from allowing the celibate clergy to get married. In these debates, accuracy in vocabulary matters.

The unforgivable sin is blasphemy of the Holy Ghost.

Easy solution. Leave romanism and go to a Christian church. He has no right to disallow participation in the Lord's Table to anyone. Romanist' communion is an insult to the Lord to begin with.
For those of you who forget, this is not the Pope saying, it is Christ himself: check your bibles, Jesus makes specific coments about the why divorce was allowed in the old testament and why it is wrong to divorce and re-marry. You live an adulterous life, that is a sin. St. Paul also writes in one of the letters that those who receive the body and blood Christ in sin, are condemned.

Leave to Pope out of what has been already said. He is following what the Lord said.

Take care, please. KNOW that we are concerned, and we care for you.
