Hey, Pope, are you stupid or what? Of course drug addiction is an evil but murder is a greater one. If drug sales were legal perhaps they could be controlled in such a way that criminals would not need to kill the competition. Furthermore, drug addiction occurs at all socio-economic levels and seems to be spread across all ethnicities, yet lots of people are not addicts and are not even interested in mind-altering drugs. Did it occur to your little Catholic brain that this is a genetic tendency? And if so, since humans are the creatures of your three-lobed god, did it occur to you that he is responsible for genetic tendencies, according to your logic?

Oh, so the pope wants alcohol and tobacco made illegal.

Of he's so confused that he doesn't realize those are more addictive than marijuana?

Or he just wasn't thinking?

Don't worry, the Pope was able to check with God's branch of the FDA, to see what God considers a "drug" and what he doesn't. It turns out marijuana is excluded from Genesis 1:29.

I just pray that one day he "sees the light" and turns to Martin Luther and he joins ELCA.

Oh, good thing, because God is only one prayer away from realizing it's been a mistake to have a Pope for the past 2000 years.
