The Catholic Church would see people die from AIDS than live using condoms. Somehow I don't quite think that's what God/Jesus meant.

A good start to stopping the carnage is lobbying for various African governments to restrict (and eventually boot out) missionary activity in their respective territories. There's no point in trying to shake sense into the RCC's top dogs.

Looks like another mess that secular science will have to mop up after.....

Condoms don't prevent the transmission of AIDS, as long as people still kiss during intercourse and swap slobber. Condoms also leak and break. The Pope was spot on when he said that condoms don't prevent the transmission of AIDS.

You'll hit the lottery twenty-five (25) times before picking up AIDS through kissing. Proper use of condoms knocks transmission risk(s) involving breakage down to two (2%) percent; leakage through latex-based condoms is in the one (1%) percent range.

Ain't perfect, but a helluva lot better than nothing.....

The continuing belief in God is the light, the organized religion has spoiled the ritual, with it's outdated, unyeilding concepts and practises.....

The use of condoms also triggers higher risk behaviours by users leading to increased HIV infection.

Lets face it - the only reason why people like to get upset by this - is becuase thye hate having anyone tell them they can't do something - based on morals!

If morals were so inimportant why are people forever trying to critise them and the people who espouse them???

Grow up!

As condoms don't always break and if the virus is not yet transferable through the infected person's saliva you are wrong. Condoms REDUCE the incidence of AIDS.

Even reduction would make a massive difference in some countries. There are places where adult role models are almost non existent - where children and elderly people are doing the heavy work and doing it on little food, if any.

They hate having people tell them what they can't do based on morals, as interpreted, by someone else.

How do you justify sending young people to war and expecting them to kill the enemy. Isn't that against Thou shalt not kill.

Grow up yourself. There has to be an application of the intelligence and compassion God gave to man.

Where is there a commandment 'Thou shalt not kill', except in mistranslation? The original is 'Thou shalt not murder'. There is a very big difference between the two.

I notice you live in Nazareth so I don't stand a chance but I did point out the issue of differing translations.

What did "thou shall not murder" have anything to do with eating meat? Eating meat, at least certain kinds, is specifically permitted by the OT. Of course HUMAN meat is on the forbidden list. That murder is forbidden deals not a whit with food.

I took lessons for 6 months, once a week, from a Catholic priest to be allowed to join the church. This priest was later arrested and jailed for molesting alter boys. Here the bastard is telling me what's right or wrong, and I'm saying ten Hail Mary's every time I suck a d!ck so I don't go to hell, and here he is buggering alter boys! I'm an atheist now. Suck anything I find. Going straight to hell if their is one.

Damn Boost , If you are going for that , then I am right there with you dude , but I will take my chances that it is OK with the big guy up there , since it doesn't hurt anyone and it does make so many guys happy , it can't be that bad , it is just a physical action to stimulus , it is like physics or something like that imo.

Hey Robert, I hope you're right...that there's a Heaven for us c0cksuckers. If so, I'll be there long before you and, when you show up, I'll be standing there with two college aged kids, naked as jaybirds, and have a big ole sh!t-eating grin on my face and whistling Dixie!

I dunno about you beating me there or not , I am accident prone ya know , but I do love the visual of you and two frat boys hangin at the pearly gates trying to get um to let ya'll in , I have been studying on it for awhile about the spiritual realm and being gay or bi, and I have to believe that we would not have these urges if they were not a natural part of who we are , and we are all created equal , soooo. I am going back to school in January and I can only hope I live your dream while I am there , maybe just one at a time though. LOL. If heaven aint just like that , I don't wanna go!

AIDS is still not tranferrable through saliva. Perhaps your parents should have worn a condom to prevent your disease(HATE)

TRUTH DOES HURT, How about stopping children being born with this terrible illness, only so they can die a terrible death.
I really don't think the Pope care one way or the other.
He just wants more people to join his cult, the vatican isn't rich enough yet more people means more money. They have had to pay out millions, because of sex abuse sandal on children.

Daily Horoscope for December 6

Capricorn

You're in a very generous and kind frame of mind today, and you'll go out of your way to help others if you think they need it. You might donate some money to a good cause or decide that charity begins at home. If you're buying gifts for some of your loved ones it will be difficult to know when to stop, because you could easily get carried away.
