<quoted text> To analize this and to properly and intelligently explain this you praticly need a history book. You simply rattle your halftruths and some lies. Celebrating certain feast according to one or another calendar is simply secondary. Depends which calendar we follow. It is siply stupid. The Jews have their own calendar. Are they stupid? No! That is their tradition. External things are of secondary nature, not the primary one. Orthodoxy came only, and I repeat only after 1045 when Rome and Constantinople split-NOT BEFORE. Islam came in the 7th century-NOT BEFORE. Protestantism came in the 15th century-NOT BEFORE. The word catholic comes from Greek language and it simply means universal, which comes from Latin language, and it means intended for all peoples and nations-you dumb Serb from Subotica, Vojvodina. CLEAR!!!
The now catholic Church and the Orthodox Church were once ONE, HOLY, Catholic,Apostalic church up until 1045 when they split. The Catholic Church took the word catholic(meaning universal) and formed their church. The Orthodox Church took the word orthodox for their church.I am Greek Orthodox.

The original dialect of the Serbs was Serb protoslavic NOT stokavian.
Stokavian was not used by the Serbs properly until the 1400s
this is not a view it is a fact.
Example of early original Serb protoslavic to todays Stokavian,
Original Serb word for "star"
AD 600 = gvojzda
AD 1000 = gvezda
AD 1500 = zvezda
The fact of the matter is CROATS today do NOT speak any of their original protoslavic language exept for some traces of it in old Serbia=Raska.
At least the Croats still retain in thier original protoslavic Cakavian all the way from Istria to Kotor and small traces in parts of west BiH and their Kajkavian in central Croatia. Croatian Stokavian is "modern" Croatian that has also uses old Croatian protoslavic.
CROAT LANGUAGES is NOT old CROTIAN and has Bulgarian and Turkish influence.
The Turks completely took over all of CROATIA for nearly 500 years there was no CROATIA area that could retain its old language as it was constantly influenced unlike Croats who intheir old citys kept on using and writing their old language.
The Turks and others completely took over all of Croatia for nearly 1000 years there was no Croat area that could retain its old language as

Now let me state that their are influences in the Croatian language with Slovak Czech Italian German and thats cool because they are European and all languages have been influnced.
however CROATIAN language and culture is way more influenced by Turkish arabic culture infact a lot more.
Croatia had western european influence and enjoyed the arts the renaisance modernism etc wile CROATIA had Turkish islamic culture imposed on it.
My post here is a responce to Champs hostile propaganda posts that are filled with Seselj lies.

Croat and Serb chapters
31. Of the Croats and of the country they now dwell in.
The Croats who now live in the region of Dalmatia are descended from the unbaptized Croats...
.....'Croats' in the Slav tongue means 'those who occupy much territory'. These same Croats arrived to claim the protection of the emperor of the Romans Heraclius
before the Serbs.....
...... And so, by command of the emperor Heraclius these same Croats defeated and expelled the Avars from those parts, and by mandate of Heraclius the emperor they settled down in that same country of the Avars, where they now dwell....
......This country in which the Croats settled themselves was originally under the dominion of the emperor of the Romans....
......These baptized Croats will not fight foreign countries outside the borders of their own....
...... if any other foreigners should come against the country of these same Croats and bring war upon it, then might God fight for the Croats and protect them, and Peter the disciple of Christ give them victories.
(meaning you get a bloodied nose like always)
32. Of the Serbs and of the country they now dwell in.
The Serbs are descended from the unbaptized Serbs, also called 'white', who live beyond Turkey in a place called by them Boïki, where their neighbour is....Great Croatia....
...'Serbs' in the tongue of the Romans is the word for 'slaves', whence the colloquial 'serbula' for menial shoes, and 'tzerboulianoi' for those who wear cheap, shoddy footgear. This name the Serbs acquired from their being slaves of the emperor of the Romans. Now, after some time these same Serbs decided to depart to their own homes, and the emperor sent them off. But when they had crossed the river Danube, they changed their minds and sent a request to the emperor Heraclius, through the military governor then holding Belgrade, that he would grant them other land to settle in.
(meaning refugee)
