The bishop only says that because he places the Church's opinions over what the Bible says about abortion: no problem!

The Bible proscibes abortion?

Catholics rely only upon the Bible?

So much revelatory information on offer from you, Liam!

The Catholic Clergy is ticked off at Justin Trudeau because Mr.Trudeau is a Catholic, married and family man and they want him to follow the Roman Catholic teachings and stop all medical access to abortions for all females.

Trudeau doesn't advocate or like abortions but he does realize not all people follow the Catholic Church's teachings so he believes like so many of us that it is a woman's right to choose. Pro-choice.

Trudeau is saying politely to the Bishops, Cardinals and the whole Roman Catholic Clergy to back off.

I know by Trudeau being pro choice he has already excommunicated himself but he only has to go to confession and say he's sorry then again he may be like so many other Catholics that do not go to confession.

I wonder will the Catholic Church decide to send a strong message to all Catholics in Canada by publicly ex-communicating Justin Trudeau?

Not necessarily.

They rely on their own misogynistic BS such as contraception is a grave evil and abortion should be denied even to save the life of the mother.

???

No, the Bible does not proscribe abortion. The only verse that addresses abortion says that it is basically a civil matter between the person that caused the abortion and the husband of the woman who received the abortion. The husband can demand a few shekels as compensation for the lost potential, rather like a man can claim damages if a neighbor's ox destroys crops before they are harvested.

So, you'd be OK if this approach was pursued by anti-abortion lobbys?

Why bring it up otherwise? I don't think that ancient civil practice is suggested routinely by PL groups.

The point is to show that even though many of the PL crowd claims to be divinely inspired, they have no Bible basis for their claims. That verse shows that aborting a fetus is no worse than accidentally knocking a branch off of a tree in an orchard.

PL people claim to be divinely inspired? Themselves?

In any event, they think it's killing, and they'll simply wave the 10 Commandments at you.

People who wave the Bible around can cherrypick with the best of them-hard to beat them at it.

and you're not into cherrypicking...right "Dan"!? Since when did anyone have to wave a bible around to prove that abortion is the killing of an unborn child?

I wonder if Mr. Trudeau has sold his soul to those who want to exterminate non-white and ever checked out the web-site of Life Dynamics Incorporated!!

I simply didn't understand why someone would be waving the Bible around to counter a Catholic teaching as Liam did. The Catholics don't reoly on the bible alone to inform their faith.

I agree that one doesn't require a bible to believe that abortion is killing.

Dan, you're a good writer, but when are you going to stop expecting everybody to believe exactly as you do? It's never gonna happen;

As I said, I believe we are all aware that the RCC relies on much more than the bible to inform their sheep. They rely heavily on their imagination and misogyny.

Um, thanks for your repetitive input, I guess.

When shall we expect you to post the same thing for a third time?

You are welcome.

I take a great deal of satisfaction knowing you cannot refute my statements. Has the RCC allowed women in their governance since we last spoke? Just thought I would ask.

I take a great deal of satisfaction knowing that your statements are mostly just gynocentric blather, so I don't bother worrying about "refuting" them. Their misandric assault on common sense does that work for me.

In response to your non-contextual question, no.
