I read the article and it was very interesting. I think that the Pope is on to the problem with Islam but He seeks to point out that Muslims love God and that impresses him. The Pope reaches out for dialogue with Muslims. I don't think that the Pope is unaware of the major differences between the two different Religions.

I don't rejoice in this message of the Pope because l know that there is no way that Islam will accept Christianity on an equal basis accepting that there are different points of worship and ways of worship of God and a different level of depth of spirituality between the two faiths.

Mohammad makes light mention of Jesus in the Koran because he needs to do so as a pre-runner to his own revelation that he is the successor to Jesus come to replace Jesus who was under him (Mohammad )as he is not the seal of the Prophets.

There is advice given by the Pope along the expected Christian lines that Muslims must be welcomed into Western Lands (why ?) and the Pope points out that they (Muslins) enjoy the freedom of worship in our Lands and asks for a reciprocal arrangement for Christians to be accepted and accommodated in Muslim Lands( no chance).

Now, it is obvious that the Pope brave as he is in raising the subject as opposed to ignoring it, and he does comment about the slaughter of Christians in Egypt and Syria and elsewhere,(will they call the Pope a Liar?) and states his concern (as if the Muslim hierarchy will put an end to it out of respect for the Pope) but the Pope does not try to save Muslims by telling them the good news about Jesus ( a step too far and too brave) but that is probably wise.

My own opinion is that Muslims have been accepted in to our Lands and their agenda is to conquer us and impose Islam and claim victory as if they had launched a Holy war on the West and conquered it, instead of coming in by invitation, but it matters not the means of how they achieved it. However, we can expect no respect or mercy from Islam in the future.

The Landscapes will change to what you would expect to see in foreign Muslim Lands and the living will be equally uncomfortable. I would request in the face of our doom that our Governments ( who have betrayed us) prepare a suicide pill that is a more humane way of dieing than beheadings) for those of us who want to get off the planet rather than live under Islam!

Unfortunately, l feel very negative about the future of Europe and we head into a New Year which we must enjoy because we know that we are living in the last of the glory days! I am a realist! Fight against Islam or sleep in your bed of nails?

RE: Pope Francis, Islam and Christianity.
..... There are many belief systems all over this planet (Christianity alone has about 3000 denominations), and all sorts of beliefs exist. But what is important is not the beliefs but what the members do and not do.
