Children's story angers Christians and atheists

Rarely can one movie annoy stalwart defenders of Christianity and atheists alike.

This movie may have something positive about it after all.

for heavens sake its a MOVIE. no i have not seen it either, but i's planning to. if you think a movie might offend you, dont go see it!! you would not let your 5 year old watch a R rated movie, so please people stop the whining and use your energy to combat things are importatnt, like gang violence or tenn drug abuse!

It has the same power over the mind as a porn movie does, it influences the mind that most times is set to the receive mode when watching a movie for most people in movie theaters, no "conversation" in the theaters while the movie is going. You may want to rethink your position on it.

My Mother taught me the same thing only she called the 'Greater Power" a "Superior Being"....no one sitting on a throne holding an orb. Yes, God made the world and he is in charge. I have no difficulty in reading the Bible or reading about Science. If you go into the mountains, the desert, or give birth you will know there is a God or whatever you want to call him. If you do not like the movie you just do not go...simple as that. GOD BLESS!!!

I agree, it's only a movie! If it upsets you so much, don't see it! If something on TV or the internet upsets you, turn the damn thing off, and read a book instead.

Ummm..so god is not "magic"? If you god is not "magic" than what is it? I spent 13 years in catholic school. I was lied to every day. Luckily, I was able to overcome the brainwashing. Yes..brainwashing. How could anyone who actually claims to understand logic and reason believe in some magic being living in the sky that never show s itself, never speaks directly to anyone, and has not one shred of evidence of it's existence. BTW..those little red lines under your words means you can't spell. Why don't you ask your god for some help? I'm sure someone show is omniscient and omnipotent could help you with something that simple.
