My husband loved to hear Peter, Paul and Mary music.
He got me into also. Now Mary can meet him in heaven and sing those songs he loved to hear. God chose another angel to go on before us. Keep the strength and faith.

Alicia sounds like a wonderful woman. How proud her mom must have been of her and her sister...and how fortunate they were to have Mary Travers as their mother.

To Alicia,
I was suprised and pleased that you also served in Special Education - I was an Assistant for the Special Ed. teachers for three years. Although I never thought of this as service and giving back to society, I hold that time as though I too fulfilled the expectation of Mary.(I felt the time in Spec Ed was the most rewarding of my career. I learned more from the students than they from me. They gae so much to be a part of the norm on campus.) I felt expecially close (and challenged) by the Downs Syndrome students in my stay with the schools.
Thank you for sharing a bit of your Mother's story :)

Daily Horoscope for December 3

Scorpio

This is not the easiest day for concentrating on what needs to be done, whether tackling those Christmas cards and letters, writing out a list of jobs, or getting on with other urgent work. Mental activity seems to be blocked, as Mars is slowing and Mercury is under cosmic pressure. Take some time out for meditation, or reflection, and let your subconscious do the work.
