He is most definitely worthy of those accolades he is receiving for changing millions of lives.

He represents an era that is badly in need of a comeback.

You and your brethren just don't get it.
He had the guts to stand up for what was right. You however, show your cowardness in the way you choose to portray this great man. He is what we need more of, you we don't.

I thought GE cleaned up the Hudson? Strange how people who suffer together have stonger convictions than people who are most content.

GE has kicked and screamed all the way to doing as little as they can get away with to clean up the Hudson River. Pete Seeger had a huge influence on bringing attention to the deplorable condition of the nation's waterways, using the Hudson as one example.

Only after they were forced to by the likes of Pete Seeger. You show your total ignorance when you write such stupid things.

Hey Angry Mom:
I'm with. I was commenting on the previous poster's comment, who bad-mouthed Seeger.
Sorry, I said that to you. I guess I wasn't really paying as much attention as I should have. I am glad you are on his side too. He has been a good and caring man for all of us, as well as one of the kindest human beings.

Wow. Peter must be nearly in his 90's now. Good for him.

But he was always kind of a jerk to tell you the truth. I remember the stories about him slipping nasty notes to Phil Ochs about his songs at the Newport Folk festival.

As if Seeger could write a song 1/10 as good as Ochs could.
