I hope she gets off her high horse long enough to recognize her supporters in Pike County. Wish she could have been like Loretta Lynn and never got above her raising. What a stuck-up, ungrateful native that would not sign autographs in Pike County for her fans years ago when they just put several grand in her pocket while attending her concert. I can not bring myself to buy any of her music after hearing how greedy she is and the snooty way she treats her family.

The Kentucky Music hall of fame?!? WOW! Stuuuuuupendous! She's really hit the big time now! <ring ring - ring ring> Hello? What's that? You're NOT?!?! Ok... I'll tell her.

Patty, that was your career on the phone. It said it's over and NOTHING will bring it back.

Why did this hack of a newspaper even bother to report this tripe?

She doesn't deserve a thing. She was born and raised in Elkhorn City, but she denies it, she was saying she was from Pikeville years ago, but now she says she's from Lexington. She always acted like she was too good for Pike Co., but honestly the non-talented whore isn't deservant of a award out of a cracker Jack box.

This new "country" is pure crap !! It's not even sounding like country but more like pop rock. Now some of the "country" musicians are doing duets with rappers...Taylor Swift for example

it's an outrage and a disgrace to all the legends of country music.

WHO CARES!! This forum is about Patty getting in the hall of fame, not what You listen to on the radio. And like I said before, she has never had a good song, that's why no one has heard about her in 15 years.

Hahahaha good rebuttal.I like Patty and other women from the 80s.These people complaining probably thinks Taylor Swift and Leanne Rimes as well as those other country wannabees are real country music songers.Pleaseeeeese give me a break. When i heard about Taylor rapping,i just shook my head.

To date, Loveless has charted more than forty singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, including five Number Ones. In addition, she has recorded fourteen studio albums (not counting compilations); in the United States, four of these albums have been certified platinum, while two have been certified gold.[1]

She is the 65th member of the Grand Ole Opry.

Loveless is also a distant cousin of Loretta Lynn and Crystal Gayle.[2 Not a bad resume i must add.I doubt these wannabes will have the staying power of the country girls of the 70s and 80s.

It was Shania Twain, and in my book she wasn't a true country singer either. You dont hear anything about her either.
