"Growing fears"?? This should be no surprise to anyone. This "fear" is reality and everyone knew when he was first diagnosed what would be the end result and so did Patrick. WHY DON'T THEY LEAVE HIM ALONE! How would the media like it if someone was waiting in the bushes to get the worst pic of them for a bunch of cash while they are looking and feeling like crap? Geesus Krist let the man have some privacy before he dies!!!!

Cancer is such an ugly disease.

A real shame that the press can't leave him alone.

I have to wonder how many people who saw him on the cover of the tabloids and thought it was distasteful went ahead and bought the magazine so they could read all about it.

As for the comment about everyone KNOWING what the end result would be when he was FIRST diagnosed. No, everyone did not know what the end result would be. While cancer does take a lot of lives there are also a lot of people who beat the disease. I know of several who have beat it. I also know some who have not.

While I agree the photos are an invasion of his privacy, they no doubt will bring alot of prayer and good energy to him. God Bless You, and Heal You Patrick Swayze!

I saw my own late husband get down to 68 pounds before his death..surely I'm not the only one to see this type of wasting in a loved one? Death is a part of life..for everyone.

My prayers to him and his family, hold each other close.

Depends on the type of cancer you're talking about and w/pancreatic cancer, it is USUALLY found in the late stage so yes, you should have known what the end result is of late stage pancreatic cancer. Now, if you talking of other cancers then yes your statement would be appropriate. Good day.

Just pray that God goes with him and his family, and all concerned, during this very trying time of life. Life is such a wierd thing. <sigh>

The problem with dying is that some people take life for-granted they smoke they drink alcohol they take drugs, and they eat bad food, We could live a longer life if we did what is right for our bodies. Although we will die, but maybe of old age and not of a disease.

It is a fact.

God bless my dear Patrick

living to old age, isnt Always great either.
at some point, u get tired and ur mind is ready but the rest is still awake.
i see this happening with my mom, it breaks my heart, shes unhappy and ready but shes still here.
and theres no cure for old age, nothing anyone can do for her. so she sits and waits..

i'd rather die earlier, than live like this.
