I don't care how old this post is. "Vulgar Display of Power" was not the best album to come out of 1992. There were a lot of better albums like Helmet's "Meantime" (More brutal and heavier than anything Pantera's ever done), Faith No More's "Angel Dust" (More intelligent and experimental than anything Pantera's ever done), Rage Against the Machine's self-titled debut (More in your face and angrier than anything Pantera's ever done), Alice in Chains' "Dirt" (More emotional and dark than anything Pantera's ever done) and let's not forget Ministry's "Psalm 69" (More faster and alien than anything Pantera's ever done).
