I agree! However, if the court admits that he, C.J. Stewart, was "screwed" because of being tried with O.J. then the court in essence is admitting that it screwed O.J. too since both were tried and convicted of the same charges.

Mass trials, is nothing new to the African-American community. Tried together and hung together, it's gone on since time immemorial in the U.S. of A. However, "spillover prejudice" just doesn't appear to me to be a legitimate appellate issue. Spill over from what? The Nevada Courts would look stupid if they accepted such a premise and made such an admission. However, it would be one of the boldest admissions ever, one certainly deserving respect, if they were to do it. However, I do not believe that there is that much intestinal fortitude in the "cult of the robe" (the judiciary) to make that type of bold ruling. Such and admission on behalf of Stewart would again be admitting that Simpson didn't receive a fair trial either, and probably could not receive one anywhere in the United States given the poisonous media saturation.
