He is a thief and murderer, and got what he long deserved. He should have stayed in California where the super liberal 9th District COurts protected him. He got greedy, tried to force his way in Nevada.

Another victim who's life was ruined by persecutors and harassment of a human who did nothing wrong. But voice his insight in what he has seen as the truth of human rights abuses. Just looking for peace in the world as a whole.

Gandhi kin protest over grandson's resignation

Arun Gandhi, grandson of Mahatma Gandhi, stepped down as president of the U.S. peace center he founded, after an essay he wrote caused an uproar.

MUMBAI, India (AP) Relatives of Mohandas K. Gandhi said they plan a series of protests to pressure the Indian government to intervene on behalf of the independence leader's grandson, who resigned under pressure as president of a New York peace center.

Arun Gandhi resigned as president of the M.K. Gandhi Institute at the University of Rochester, which he founded, on Jan. 25 amid criticism over remarks he made about Israel and Jews in a newspaper column.

The family is not seeking to have Arun Gandhi reinstated, but rather to highlight a controversy the family sees as "a witch hunt" and an act of censorship, said Tushar Gandhi, Arun Gandhi's son. Family members have not said what precisely they want the government to do for them.

Both Tushar and Arun Gandhi were arrested and then released earlier this week after staging a public protest in Mumbai.

"It is not a selfish motive to protect my father's interests," Tushar Gandhi told the Associated Press. "This is to make people aware that the land of freedom is not really free."

The uproar came over an essay Arun Gandhi he wrote that appeared on the Washington Post's website Jan. 7 calling Israel and Jews the biggest players in a culture of violence that "is eventually going to destroy humanity."

He later apologized "for my poorly worded post," saying he should not have implied that Israeli government policies reflected the views of all Jewish people.

Gandhi wrote that Jewish identity "has been locked into the holocaust experience a German burden that the Jews have not been able to shed. It is a very good example of (how) a community can overplay a historic experience to the point that it begins to repulse friends."

Tushar Gandhi said he planned more silent demonstrations and other protests in hopes of pressuring the Indian government to raise the issue with U.S. officials.

Indian authorities have not commented on the controversy. Arun Gandhi was traveling to the U.S. and could not be reached for comment.

Mohandas Gandhi, also known as Mahatma Gandhi, led India to independence in 1947 but was gunned down by a Hindu extremist.

The M.K. Gandhi Institute offers courses, workshops and seminars on non-violence. University President Joel Seligman has said the institute will remain at the university, which provides office space and staff support.

"Judge" Jackie Glass is obviously guilty of hate crimes in my book. NorwalkLady is correct. And I don't believe the hate crime laws make sense with the way they are always applied! Why are they not applied against corrupt judges and courts??

As an afro-american, I consider a very good thing having OJ Simpson finally in jail.

This guy slained his wife and another man thirteen years ago and went with it.
His "runaway" harmed too much race relations in this country.

Arguing that a jewish judge is having revenge on OJ Simpson because of the Goldberg is nonsense: attorney Shapiro saved his head thirteen years ago...

I can still be seen occasionally driving up and down L.A. freeways in the familiar white Broncho with a cardboard cutout of Juice Simpson in the back seat.

This is a site that is being monitored by the American intelligence community. this topic has been placed on jihadists radars for long time, thanks to Lui Rodriguez sending emails all over embassy row about how Bill clinton and Hillary Clinton, along with the Bush trash, used Luis Rodriguez a political whipping boy with no rights inside US borders. Bill and Hillary Clinton and the Bush trash think that people will do nothing in retaliation for their abuses. they think they can get away with anyhting. Thye never contemplated that Luis rodriguez would follow through on his threats to expose the Clinton/Bush trash. Google Bill Clinton Harbor/UCLA and George W. Bush Harbor/UCLA as well as Harbor/UCLA terrorism. It cost Billary Clinton the White House. Luis Rodriguez does not parrot the party line as other epople do. He has the balls to expose the clinton/Bush trash. This will be worse than Watergate. More will soon be posted about the depositions that Kim Goldman and Fred goldman gave in early 96. The 9/11 date will pop up with Kim Goldman's deposition, just like the 9/11 date is linked to Harbor/UCLA. hopefully this will embolden freedom fighters, like Hezbollah and Hamas, all over the globe to take advantage of America's weakness and hypocrisy.
