No Doubt sues video game maker over 'Band Hero'

No Doubt is suing a video game maker for putting words in band members' mouths. The band sued Activision over a feature in the new "Band Hero" game that allows players to control virtual band members and have them sing other artists' songs.

"...The lawsuit claims a feature allows players to have lead singer Gwen Stefani perform suggestive lyrics from the Rolling Stones' hit "Honky Tonk Women."

Geez....I think some of Gwen's solo stuff (especially album tracks) has been FAR MORE "suggestive" than anything the stones have done.

But it doesn't bother me! heheh

I think the game animation is hilarious. Not knowing how to change the characters at first, the original male singer character for such songs was a huge, burly, guy who looks like they're in a heavy metal band.

Now picture that character singing to the Culture Club song.
