The Apollo program was and still is special to me. I worked for Leach Corporation in Azusa who was a sub contractor to Collins Radio Corp, who were sub-contractors to North American, who built the Apollo Command Module. Grumman Aircraft built the Lunar Excursion Module (LEM). Leach built the data recorders on board both modules. I wrote the operation and maintenance manuals for both recorders. We were all very proud of our products, and they worked to perfection on all the missions, including the troubled Apollo 13 mission.
