Nancy Cartwright is a long-time scientologist.

So what if she now donates her "talents" along with millions and millions of dollars

Things were already headed towards total meltdown in Riverside County and Valkrie was already flopping when Lerma told us about the OTs on psych drugs. Now France announces another investigation, and the wheels are slowly turning at Amnesty International. This time last year was even worse for them, but its still really, really bad.

If they go through with the fresh advertising campaign they seem to be thinking about, everything will get much better though. After all, its not like we can afford to follow them to the airwaves.

What I find interesting is that even mainstream media is openly mocking the cult. Things being as bad as they are this new campaign isn't surprising, but I wonder how effective it will be at this point.

I am always amazed that otherwise intelligent human beings allow themselves to get sucked into cults large and small. Can't people think for themselves?

L.Ron's Scientology is not any kookier, or any less kooky than any other religion. If we are prepared to set aside reason, then 'By God' anything goes. Red horned devils, evil galactic rulers named Xenu, lambs with seven horns and seven eyes, and of course the spirits of murdered space aliens. Relax and enjoy!

The point isn't that Scientology is kooky. Sure that makes it fun, but that isn't the point.

The point is that the Church of Scientology blatantly violates human rights every day. It commits crimes, abuses and fraud against not only its membership but whistle-blowers. It actively works hard, every single day, to suppress free speech. There are hundreds of victims locked up in the Church of Scientology's secret prison camps. It destroys families and ruins lives.

If you think that Scientology is just another wacky religion, you need to educate yourselves.

You're right, that doesn't remind me of the Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, or Muslim beheadings at all.

Crusades? Spanish Inquisition? You're really comparing the abuses of scientology to things that happened in the 14th century? Gee most of us have evolved a little since then, but I guess the coerced abortions, prison camps, disconnection policy, the scams, frauds and cons, the senseless deaths, all of it, can be excused because of the Crusades.
Hey good luck selling that.

Good point, if it didn't happen in your lifetime it's probably not important. Perhaps you would prefer Abortion clinic shootings and bombings, the be-headings are of course going on as we write. Then there are female circumcisions, pedophile priests, and good ole Reverend Jim Jones, but to name a few. Don't even get me started on the Pentecostals.

Orly?
Which religion perpetrated the largest infiltration into government offices on local soil in U.S history?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Snow_W...
AND attempted the same thing across the globe?
http://www.xenu.net/archive/go/ops/go732/go73...

Which "religion" is afforded special considerations that NO OTHER religion is afforded in the U.S.A?

Your premise for arguing is useless.
Are you that desperate for listeners that you have to come here with red herring arguments?

Our only premise is that religion is BS 'mkay. We do not defend Scientology 'mkay.
(See we can post links too!) The Special consideration that you refer to is Tax-Exempt status and all recognized churches in the US receive this. We are against this special consideration in all instances. Unless of course we finally get IRS Tax-Exempt Status for the Church of the Daily-Ride. As for "Operation Snow White" this is just the kind of thing I expect from religious organizations.

Oh, never mind. I see this is just a spam comment to promote your anti-religion web site. You're not interested in facts.

Well you are right about one thing, we are trying to shill for our podcast. Much like you are a shill for anti-Scientology, and we support that notion; shut the bastards down. However, our website is hardly anti-religion and mostly anti-stick-up-the-you-know-wha t.
