This Dirk Benedict series was fantastic! Don't allow the 'big-screen' weasels to trash it in any way!
Aaron Spelling allowed Charlie's Angels to be trashed and for what? Money?
Currently Glen A Larson has let Battlestar: Galactica be trashed with the current BG so-called remake on sci-fi. And, again with Knight Rider on it's NBC current flop! Again, it's these creators who with profit perhaps. But the fans are seeing no entertainment value out of these disgraces at all!
And, now the A-Team? No thanks!

God almighty, the "A-Team" was one of the absolute suckiest TV shows ever.

We've seen how Hollywood can take a crappy TV show like "Bewitched" or "The Dukes of Hazard" and make an even crappier movie out of it so according to that the "A-Team" movie should be one of the worst movies ever!

I pity the po' fo' who is looking forward to seeing an "A-Team" movie.

Good comments, with the exception of BSG - Glen Larson created an orginial piece o' crap (premise good, executiion = terrible). Remake is better & highly acclaimed.

The other analogies are good: Knight Rider, Dukes, and don't forget about Miami Vice. Despite what you thought of the originals, the movie/TV "remakes" were utter garbage.

What's next? A Benson movie? Facts Of Life? Night Court???

The A-team was mindless fun and never portrayed itself to be more than that. Dirk Benedict himself said it was a live-action cartoon. If they keep that in mind, this should be a fun movie. Fun, remember that? Remember that's what entertainment is FOR?

And the best thing is, you screen violence prudes can see it too. The A-Team and their enemies will trade thousands of rounds of ammo, but no one will ever get hit.

Indeed,

I agree with the quief. A-Team had cartoon like qualities where cars can fly through the air and machine guns were fired but always hit the ground behind people running. The Family Guy spoofed this too. I'd be for a movie as long as they didn't get too serious with it or try and morph this into something. They should use the original cast too ( George Peppard being the exception ), perhaps they can acknowledge Hannibals death and even though they no longer have their master of disguise leader, they can still pull it off....but first they get defeated and like Rocky have to try again.

“Thank you, come again!”

Or have Chris Tucker do it, and he can do a BA / Ruby Rod ( The Fifth Element ) Hybrid character :)

Woo-hoo! I was in grammar school when the A Team was on prime time. I wanted to be the only girl member. I would drive getaway cars, shoot the bad guys and most of all get to be Face's girlfriend. I thought he was soooo cute! I was nine years old.

Chris Tucker? Seriously? Come on...

Now, Anthony Anderson would be a great choice.

I agree 100% Nicholas.

Hollywood's idea of a great remake is to trash the originals, and even when they flop like Ron Moore's Galactica disaster, they hype it anyway and reward the perpetrators with more big money to make bad remakes.

You can't ruin the A-Team by turning it into a film. The show wasn't really high quality to begin with.
