I think it was wonderful and the orchestra was great too!

Figaro and Susanna were not the only ones who made Figaro "work." It took EVERYONE in the cast to make it the show that it was. Bad review for what was an amazing show!

This guy obviously has no idea what he is writing about. First off, the Countess's arias are difficult for even 30 year old professionals to sing, and Victoria only being 21 executed them beautifully. The vocal lines Chiera sang were melancholic, full of longing and expressive phrasing that clearly highlighted her accurate portrayal of the role.

I agree with Disgruntled. The arias sung by other cast members (Barabarina for example)are very challenging and the cast members did the justice for sure. Not a very well written review. I disagree with his words about the orchestra. It was mostly tight and if anything the winds were not as good as the rest. The harpsichordist in particular was quite good.
