THE UNCF SALUTES SMOKEY ROBINSON: The 'Poet of Motown' is honored on annual TV fund drive.

“UNCF has always been my favorite charity and to be honored by them is truly an honor,” Robinson told EUR’s Lee Bailey. “I’m truly overwhelmed. I’ve been to several of the programs where they’ve honored other people; Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, and I just feel honored to be in that company.”

I grew up with smokey Ribonson & the miracles , I remember times seeing them perform in washington dc , awesome show,,, I watched the Uncf lastnight as they saluted Smokey , a awsome presentation with many performers, I was a bit puzzed seeing and hearing Gospel Artist Yolanda Adams singing R & B , it just didn't fit her , other wise I enjoyed the performances.
