Pundits aren't ready to understand the most threatening aspects of stated orientations. The Weekly Standard leads an article thusly:

"In President Obama's closing statement at last night's debate, he seemed to make a remarkable slip. "All those things are designed to make sure that the American people, their genius, their grit, their determination, is -- is channeled and -- and they have an opportunity to succeed. And everybody's getting a fair shot. And everybody's getting a fair share," Obama said, before quickly correcting himself and adding,"[E]verybody's doing a fair share, and everybody's playing by the same rules," he added."

Certainly, the concept of "everybody getting a fair share" is troubling Marxism opposed to everything a free people understand. It seems that is the primary concern of the interpretation of this closing Obama statement. They simply evade the most troubling statement, seemingly not comprehending its threat, its presumption of authority and moral theft by government.

It is the word "channeled." Read it carefully, because "channeling" has been an asserted right of the Federal government for many decades. They believe they have the right to channel the efforts and outcomes of Americans... a free people... It is perhaps the most disgusting presumption of Marxist manipulators of individual rights and excellence ever perpetrated. People pass over it as if it isn't significant.

Granted, Obama's actions say he's channeling your children. Now, his words say it too.

Mitt Romney won the first Presidential Debate walking away. It was such a blowout that liberal spinmeisters were left sputtering excuses and searching for explanations.

MSNBC’s Chris Matthews was feeling no tingles last night – not up his leg, not anywhere.“Where was Obama tonight?” he lamented after the debate. Andrew Sullivan observed,“this was a disaster for the president…and his effete, wonkish lectures may have jolted a lot of independents into giving Romney a second look.”

If Romney was at the top of his game, Obama’s performance was, to be charitable, lackluster. Is it possible that even he gets tired of repeating the same lame liberal talking points over and over again?

Romney has experience in the real world of business and finance, and it showed. Obama has a background in academic theories and “community organizing”– and that showed.

As opposed to lame liberal talking points, Romney’s points (mirabile dictu) actually made a great deal of sense. After four years of the Obama Administration I had almost forgotten what sense sounds like.

Obama is saying the only thing he can say... basically, "Don't pay attention to what Romney says; pay attention to what we say he says."

Romney covered it well by countering that Obama and the Democrats act like children, when repeating something false until they actually believe it.

What you saw is an old trick even Reagan used in second term debates first one that is least important when you know you will win so long as supporters vote but you know if supporters figure you are going to win, they might think, I don't need to leave early from word to vote because my man wins anyway. Obama lost for a good reason. He could care less about coming out as loser or about Romney but he wanted to scare his base and put fire under their arses to get out there and vote.

He pulled a Reagan and will take Romney down next two debates now that he has his base shook up to VOTE.

270 needed to win and 300 for a landslide and all Electoral maps on news shows are their own to keep you watching. One poll that counts is public and here it is and Romney has lost. He has never once been ahead. Democrats who thought maybe, I can get away without voting because Obama will win will now vote because they are worried but here is the poll and no worry yet good they are worried lmao

Last thing the States needs is some odd Religious fanatic like Bush and some sexually uptight old white man.

Obama lost the debate like a fox.

Great comments, but he shouldn't have waited until the next day to speak up. Someone needs to wake him up before the next debate.

I blame Lehrer, he was clearly boring Obama to death...:)

As the reality of the Benghazi murders and the President's subsequent inflaming of radical Muslims to murder and riot in twenty countries with the now obviously absurd contention of an obscure movie trailer causing it, it shouldn't take honest Americans much time to decide who is the real Obama.

He abandoned the Ambassador and others, then caused the murders of others worldwide. This people is the sickest dereliction of real character ever displayed from the Oval Office. The only other President even coming close was another Democrat, Andrew Jackson, in refusing to follow a Supreme Court order and causing personally the murder of many in the Trail of Tears.

How, given the news, could anyone be stupid enough to believe that the killings in Benghazi PRECEDED the rioting on other nations such as Egypt? That alone shows those making the claim to be ignorant, or atrocious liars.

The President inflamed the rioting and murders in twenty counties by making the intentionally false claim of a movie trailer justifying the riots and murders. Get your facts straight, because they all come down against the President. He refused to respond with protection of his own Ambassador. He later asked permission to protect US property in another country. He continued to falsely claim a movie trailer caused the problems, when he knows it is the Muslim Brotherhood and other radical terrorists causing the problems.

During the last few days of the1980 election, Carter led Reagan in the polls quite handily, but ended up in a land slide in the gippers favor. Simply put, Reagan beat Carter because of his failed policies as President.. And I assure you, O'Blunder is no Ronald Reagan. Furthermore, both Carter and Reagan had executive experience prior to becoming president. Both were former Governors, Carter of Georgia and Reagan of California.'

OTOH, O'Bysmal had no real experience in anything (other than an Alinsky community organizer) let alone executive experience. He came from no where,-- devoid of a modicum of understanding of ECON 101 and even less on how businesses work and flourish. And on top of that, every thing sealed about his past.
The only thing he brought to the fore, is that he was black, and that's what got him elected....'Nuff said!
