YOu don't know much about American History or American politics, if I could guess you support the Republican Party, is that correct?

Women who have husbands or fathers serving in Congress can be appointed to fill vacancies due to resignation or death of the Congressmen.

Customarily, the Governor of the State, if there is no special election legislation requirement; appoints and, or offers the position initially to the surviving spouse, or daughter of the resigned or deceased Congressman.

Muriel Humphrey, the widow of former senator and Vice President Hubert Humphrey; served in the Senate upon his death.

In 2000, Jean Carnahan was appointed to fill the Senate seat won by her recently-deceased husband, Mel Carnahan and, also In 2002, Lisa Murkowski was appointed by her father Alaska Governor Frank Murkowski, who had resigned from the Senate to become governor.

Former Senator Elizabeth Dole, is married to former Senate Majority Leader and 1996 Republican presidential candidate Bob Dole.

Not knowing what one wants or desires in bed is not relevant, Larry Craig, Tom Foley, and Tom Delay all served in congress, some in leadership positions for the GOP and their sexual preferences didn't appear to hinder their congressional position along ideological terms.

We live in a democracy. We are NOT required to respect our politicians. They work for US! We don't work for them.
Hillary has done NOTHING. Her husband was President, not her. She couldn't even figure out what he wants in bed, much less deal with other world leaders. If they guy she's married to can fool her, how gullible does she have to be?
Is that what liberalism means now? Having the spouse of some politician automatically elevated? That's just f*cking wonderful. We've regressed all the way back to the middle-ages and we now get our leaders based on who they are related to or who they married.
Why not make Michelle and Barrack our King & Queen? I'm sure you ObamaZombies are all just salivating over that idea.
What a bunch of hicks & retrograde Neanderthals Dems are!

The Democrat Primary should be interesting in 2016. I wouldn't doubt that Hillary would choose Susan Rice as here VP choice.

How about Santorum using his disabled child to raise campaign PAC for his personal use?
Classy observant Catholic, eh?
Ha... Santorum, Santorum in Pennsylvania has long been known as a political prostitute. He has no dignity or conscious and doesn't think twice of pimping his disabled daughter in soliciting campaign cash and, or pandering for votes or any cause that brings him attention.

Case of this point, Santorum couldn't muster enough votes to win Pennsylvania in the Republican clown show of a Primary last year.

Which brings up the point, neither of the stooges at the Top of the Republican ticket in 2012 won their respective States of residence, and Romney has at the very least two home States and lost them both by sizeable margins.

Ole, Orange Man Tan, did position a Women in the GOP Conference to Chair the House Administration Committee, basically house keeping and typing. That should be a nail in the coffin of that GOP War on Women nonsense.

The Speaker elevated the woman to Manager of Congressional Paper Clips and Staplers. He must have found her in that "Binder full of Women"..... So they did get some use from Romney's Binder....... ROFLMAO.......

Hillary is one of the most Noted and Respected Women in the World, what's her purpose of being angry?

Throughout the world, there isn't one Republicans in America who is as loved, respected and admired in every corner of the universe as Hillary and her Husband Bill Clinton.

I sincerely hope that Benghazi and Rubber Ducks at the Port are the central theme of the opposition in the 2016 Presidential Campaign.

You should put up a blog and web site this evening proposing those issues as a key theme of dissent for 2016.

Looks like the republicannot party did not find an "excellent choice" with Paul (lying) Ryan and Mitt (47 percenter) Romney out of all those loser primary candidates.

Widen you tent, repugs, stop the divisiveness of ethnic/gender groups, get with the 21st century and start grooming your candidate.

LOL! Oh sure, everyone loves a "winner". Poor Odumbo and his idiot supporters are all a-twitter about how popular he is, as if this was high school and he was just elected "most likely to succeed". You can hear the giggling down the hall, past the gym and into home room. It's a teenage love-fest! All we need is Madonna, Spears and Lohan to make this complete.
However there's one more voter who has yet to cast a vote: REALITY. Obozo might not like the results of that popularity contest. We'll be treated to tens of millions of his disillusioned fans wondering just what the f*ck they were thinking when they got behind this lightweight nobody. He has no experience, no accomplishments and has never run anything of importance in his life.
(But at least he's not Hillary, whose only claim to fame is that her hubby used to be Prez.)
