What the 2012 election taught us

We've been scouring the data for clues as to what we should learn from what happened tonight as President Obama relatively easily claimed a second term.

"Will George W. Bush end up being the last true U.S. President?" asked Sher Zieve, writing for the Canadian Free Press on January 14. " As I warned you on multiple times prior to the 2008 General Election,'Once Obama is elected, we won't be able to get rid of him.' Tragically, this warning is now being realized. Not only has Obama established his election-fraud organization ACORN nationwide, his adherents have now begun the process to repeal the U.S. Constitution's 22nd Amendment."

On another thought...

What we need is a flat tax that EVERYONE pays. No exceptions. No excuses.
When everyone has to pay for the government they vote to create, then they won’t be voting for anyone like what we have in Washington today. And, that is probably the exact reason nobody in Washington favors a flat tax.
A flat tax will solve the government’s spending problem.

good plan, but the 47% will never vote for it...it would cut into their freebies.

Their freebies will be cut a lot more seriously when the reality that money doesn't grow on trees becomes impossible to ignore.
The only way to save their freebies is to cut them. If those freebies aren't cut, everyone loses everything because...(Democrats may need to write this down) money doesn't grow on trees.

The Democrats have no intention of enforcing any gun legislation in their own districts. Evidence of that is a complete lack of enforcement of existing gun laws there.
So, since it's obvious the Democrats have no intention of enforcing any gun law in their own districts, why do the Democrats want these gun laws?

yes...true, I agree, and so do most people with half a brain...but keep in mind, the people we are dealing with here are in their 3rd generation of doing nothing except sitting on the porch waiting on their check to come in the mail. They have no idea where the money comes from, except the mailman...should that free money stop, they will have to become dangerous....robbing, stealing, etc to survive.

Harry Reid has already said he will not back Finstein's plan. If you notice all the off the wall plans come from liberals like her and Pelosi that will never be challenged in their home districts due to the insanity of the children that wait for the private jets to land to get their bags of free candy.

I didnt know or heard that Harry Reid has already said that he will not back Dianne Feinstein Gun Ban Plan but I do believe Harry Reid knows that the Democrats like Dianne Feinstein, Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi & the others that aligned with them & their insanity cost the Democrats politically in 1994 to pass the Federal Assault Weapons Ban but I know Harry Reid placed language in Obamacare forbidding the Regulation of Guns & Ammunition and your right too the Ultra Left wing & I mean Left Modern Liberals like Pelosi & Feinstein.

Here is the Language in Obamacare pretaining to Guns & Ammunition.

For these reasons, the following language did, indeed, become a part of the nation’s controversial health care reform law:

(c) PROTECTION OF SECOND AMENDMENT GUN RIGHTS.—

‘‘(1) WELLNESS AND PREVENTION PROGRAMS.— A wellness and health promotion activity implemented under subsection (a)(1)(D) may not require the disclosure or collection of any information relating to—

‘‘(A) the presence or storage of a lawfully- possessed firearm or ammunition in the residence or on the property of an individual; or

‘‘(B) the lawful use, possession, or storage of a firearm or ammunition by an individual.
‘‘

(2) LIMITATION ON DATA COLLECTION.—None of the authorities provided to the Secretary under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act or an amendment made by that Act shall be construed to authorize or may be used for the collection of any in- formation relating to—

‘‘(A) the lawful ownership or possession of a firearm or ammunition;

‘‘(B) the lawful use of a firearm or ammunition; or

‘‘(C) the lawful storage of a firearm or ammunition.

‘‘(3) LIMITATION ON DATABASES OR DATA BANKS.—None of the authorities provided to the Secretary under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act or an amendment made by that Act shall be construed to authorize or may be used to maintain records of individual ownership or possession of a firearm or ammunition.

<quoted text>The Early Years of Sanctions

On August 6, 1990, four days after Iraq's invasion of Kuwait, the Security Council passed Resolution 661, imposing comprehensive sanctions on Iraq and establishing a committee to monitor them. Both Iraq and the international community assumed that this embargo would be short lived - no more than six months - because that was in everyone's economic interest. Both sides took initiatives to resolve the conflict but on January 15, 1991 the Security Council endorsed a US-led coalition in a devastating air war which, contrary to just war theory, targeted much of Iraq's civilian infrastructure (e.g., water purification and hydro-electrical plants) for destruction.

Even before the fighting ended the UN dispatched a humanitarian impact mission. It described the catastrophic damage to civilians and their institutions, proposing that food supplies be immediately removed from the sanctions regime. At the same time, the ceasefire (R687) that followed Iraq's havoc-wreaking withdrawal from Kuwait extended sanctions by tying them to Iraq's disarmament of weapons of mass destruction (WMDs). This resolution is a two-edged sword. On the one hand it conditions the lifting of sanctions on verifiable disarmament; on the other hand it mandates the lifting of sanctions once Iraq is declared free of WMDs. Iraq insists that the threat of an invasion by the US is the most fundamental violation possible of sanctions conditions. It has no incentive to comply with disarmament inspections because the US has no intention of keeping the other end of the bargain, the complete lifting of the embargo.
Where were the WMDs? Why did Bush invade Iraq instead of Afghanistan?

They all have armed guards or CAC license's for themselves. I think we can let the Secret Service and the Capital Guards find other jobs.

Agree 100%.
They already rob, steal, etc. The only change will be, there won't be anything to steal (that we paid for to replace what was previously stolen) in their neighborhoods, and they will have to extend their search for something to steal. That extended search will certainly go into neighborhoods that have something to steal.
That's when the real problem will surface. Obama must make us defenseless so we are not a threat to them when they are forced to steal in neighborhoods and communities where the culture doesn't accept burglary as a social norm.

Yes. But, after they learn that the neighborhoods they are forced to go to to find something to steal don't accept burglary as a social norm. Then, those who do not learn to produce for themselves will eat rats.

yes, when obama takes away our guns, his people will be free to roam and rob, rape and steal to their hearts desire. Thats their true desire anyway, they don't have the time to wait on reparations.
