Where did I state that government employees don't pay taxes? My point is, they are not going to vote to downsize themselves out of a job. So you think as a country's population grows, there needs to be more and more government agencies to tell the citizens what is good for them, and force them to do it? We have too much redundancy in government as it is. The government invents more agencies to squeeze more taxes and fees out of the citizens they work for.
At least the last point we can agree on. We may have different reasons for thinking the same thing, but we think the same thing.

Not really. This kettle has a masters degree, a doctorate degree, and a business with a half dozen employees. I pay taxes that support low life's like barefoot. Then barefoot accuses me of being the mooch.
I appreciate the post though. I would have defended myself but I rarely if ever reply to barefoot, and I was busy working. Something barefoot knows nothing about.

This country needs more than two viable parties. When the Republicans run someone not that different from the Democrat candidate, two elections in a row, the parties are getting too close in ideals.
We need more parties, and electorates from those additional parties appointed.

The GOP is praying the tea baggers will leave the nest and start their own. The GOP will not will a major election being saddled with this dead weight.

Talk is cheap and so far you have proved yourself to be an illiterate, lying buffoon.

I guess you are holding off on the good stuff.

PS: It's "master's degree". If you had spent the extra $20, they would have enclosed it in a wooden frame and spelled it correctly.

Since Obama was elected in 2008, the government employees have dropped significantly- some half a million.

Using real numbers instead of tea bag rhetoric.

I agree with this..more independents that don't buy into the extremists in both parties

I think we spend too much time debating Rep vs Dem or conservative vs liberal, when we could be so much further along, if we move forward on the common ground first. We can always debate the extremes later.
