Oh, BTW, lying is a sin and it's the "simple truths" mentality, ignorance, greed, egos, LIES, etc.........from cult proselytizing, that were the cause, that slowed the evolution of the sciences from its full potentials to humanity throughout centuries. it's obvious you're mentality hasn't evolved.

Notice, still no data from marysaidyes2life. These cult followers allow their brains to be held hostage by archaic nonsense and lies.

Yep, I have noticed that. I don't expect any real data from "mary" anytime soon either, mostly because he hasn't GOT any.

What a bizarre post!

I've often wondered how the church sees 'illegitamate' children. As far as Im aware, and it is much of the religeous stuff I see, God is the one who blesses us with children so why do unmarried people, teenagers etc get pregnant in the first place?

Well, quite obviously God doesnt have anything to do with conception.

Yes, contraception can bring medical problems but then so does coffee, fags, alcohol, cars, rain etc etc... Trying to convince someone they'll die from taking contraception is like telling people never to walk outside their front doors for fear of a fatal accident.

If those with deep religeous feelings would like to help the rest of society in a valid and fulfilling way, I'm sure the's a charity nearby who could use some help. Then, rather than have a go at everyone and find silly excuses for things, go and do some physical good for the homeless, disabled or orphans.

Not getting pregnant in the first place is a great idea.
Tell it to the boys since they do the impregnating.
Beat them senseless with abstinence! Don't let a moment go by without enforcing this concept. Gone are the days where "boys will be boys". Hold them responsible for a change. Same goes for married men as married couples also have abortions. Preach abstinence to the married men!
Oh, by the way. Practice what you preach.
I believe that it still takes two to Tango so to speak so while I agree that men are half of that equation women are the other half. That is unless you consider heterosexual intercourse as a form of rape with only one partner as responsible.

Bottom line Abortion takes the life of a child and is an unacceptable way of dealing with an unwanted pregnancy. By the way you response seems to carry a lot of anger in it you might want to ask yourself why you would get angry with a computer correspondent who has offered you no insult. Just a thought.

Abstinence for TEENAGERS is a good idea, especially since they can still get pregnant, even with the use of contraception. NO method of birth control is 100% effective, and pregnancy as a teenager is NOT a good thing.
The thing is, there are quite a few adult women who also don't want pregnancy or children, including married ones. Not all women want to be punished with lifetime celibacy because they don't ever want kids. Contrary to what militant religionists want to believe, children aren't always a "blessing," especially to a woman who doesn't ever want be a mother. Motherhood is OPTIONAL, not required, even if a pregnancy results due to birth control failure.
For my part, I'm very grateful that my method of BC has kept me pregnancy-FREE (ie free FROM pregnancy) for 18+ years. For me, PREGNANCY SUCKS, and I so love NOT being pregnant.
I understand where you are coming from and while I do not agree with artificial birth control I do support your responsible attitude. That choice unlike the abortion of a child is an individual decision. Abortion is never an acceptable way to deal with an unwanted pregnancy.

The "right to control your life" crowd are out to lunch. At chicky filler-up. Huckersbees told them to go there, and they did because they're ALL mindless lemmings. This is what makes America so exceptional: so many dolts!!!!

You mean abortion is never acceptable to YOU. Fine, nobody is forcing you to have one.

However, it is very acceptable to the woman who DOESN'T want to stay pregnant and intends to abort the unwanted pregnancy. Not YOUR pregnancy? Not your decision either.

Actually abortion is not acceptable within the social contract that governs all successful societies. When a society allows the murder of innocent children in abortion or the elderly in euthanasia the society breaks down eventually into barbarism. Societies are organized primarily for the protection of the weak and innocent to promote the survival of the society. They are not organized to promote the self destructive behavior that you seem to endorse. There are multiple solutions to unwanted pregnancies that do not involve the death of the child.

LOL. I went to Chik fil a and I notices some very interesting things. First of all, there was a protest crowd and way more customers of Chick fil a in fact it took an hour to get my order. However I was very happy to show my support for the company, but while waiting I noticed a few things. The appearance of the crowds. The Chick fil a customers were all happy, smiling and very peaceful. The Gay crowd very angry. Then there were the children, Plenty on the Chick fil a side, none noticed on the Gay side. Then I noticed how the people were dressed, There was plenty of nicely dressed customers, and then there were oddly dressed people on the gay side. Proffesionals compared to people who were all tattood up, families compared to couples who looked like bums. women dressed nicely compared to who knows dressed in goofy costumes. I was also amused at the signs that the gays were holding. I really laughed at the one that says Chickens are not bigots! I thought to myself too, Chickens aren't trying to redefine marriage either! That really makes me wonder why you seem to support the mindless banter of that crowd?

You can spout whatever patriarchal garbage you like, it makes no difference to me. Thankfully, WOMEN get to make our own sexual and reproductive choices, including the use of contraception and abortion, without needing the approval or permission of men.

Sorry, pal, but the dark days of enforced patriarchy against women and women's rights are happily OVER, despite efforts by the religious reich in America to bring those ugly days back.

It is truly sad that you have been conditioned to reply with such vitriol to someone who calls into question your position on abortion. The issue has nothing to do with some supposed "patriarchy" or anything else other than the basic right to life of all humans. Yes women have a right to control their bodies right up to when they become pregnant at that point the child they are carrying has the same rights of life and choice as the woman. Given the resent discovery that a child en utero feels pain at around 20 weeks of gestation it becomes more and more difficult to justify the killing.

I never said it did NOT take two to tango.

What I said and was indicating is brow beating the men with abstinence who for ages have escaped the lectures and allowed to express their sexuality unbothered and unblamed.

Bottom line abortion is perfectly acceptable and eliminates a zygote, embryo, fetus a potential human in the early stage of development. Women are not life support systems unless they choose to be.

My response seems angry, guess I should be a good little docile girl like the ones you find more prone to your (going for a guess here) religious mythologies? What I find insulting will be determined by me and NOT by you. Got it?

AND who cares what you agree with, women are big girls that can make their own medical decisions and you are of no value within those decisions.

What is unsuccessful is government and religion determining womens reproductive lives.

What is unsuccessful is undermining half the population and assigning them as brood mares.

Societies have been predominantly patriarchal for their own dominance and pleasure with little if any consideration for the female. Much more comfortable having not to compete with women and forcing them into submissive roles.

There ARE multiple solutions to unwanted pregnancy and one of them is abortion.
