The Real Boston Tea Party was an Anti-Corporate Revolt
CNBC Correspondent Rick Santelli called for a "Chicago Tea Party" on Feb 19th in protesting President Obama's plan to help homeowners in trouble. Santelli's call was answered by the right-wing group FreedomWorks, which funds campaigns promoting big business interests, and is the opposite of what the real Boston Tea Party was. FreedomWorks was funded in 2004 by Dick Armey (former Republican House Majority leader & lobbyist); consolidated Citizens for a Sound Economy, funded by the Koch family; and Empower America, a lobbying firm, that had fought against healthcare and minimum-wage efforts while hailing deregulation.

Anti-tax "tea party" organizers are delivering one million tea bags to a Washington, D.C., park Wednesday morning - to promote protests across the country by people they say are fed up with high taxes and excess spending.

The real Boston Tea Party was a protest against huge corporate tax cuts for the British East India Company, the largest trans-national corporation then in existence. This corporate tax cut threatened to decimate small Colonial businesses by helping the BEIC pull a Wal-Mart against small entrepreneurial tea shops, and individuals began a revolt that kicked-off a series of events that ended in the creation of The United States of America. http://www.commondreams.org/view/2009/04/15-1...

News Flash. Katrina happened under Dubya. He sat back and watched as Americans suffered and told his inept FEMA director what a fine job he was doing. Bush did nothing, while Obama reacted. Big difference in how the two handled a major storm.

I couldn't hold it all the way to work today. Had to unload ASAP, then wrap paper around my shit filled undies, then walk to the car and and get another pair, back to the bathroom and change. I hate it when that happens. Left a poop stain that made it all the way to the outside of my lightly colored slacks which I wiped as much as I could. Damn it when that happens. STUNK! I sprayed air freshener but you know that when the stink is too much it doesn't matter what you do, everyone has to grin and bare it.

Petraeus did more in Iraq and his surge to destroy relations with Islam and get more Americans killed with his military tactics without even trying ?

Whatever he didn't do about Benghazi has more to do with why he quit than railing the hottie writing a book about him.(mostly fiction).

I didn't see McCrystals name but I did see PX Kelley's name on the list. For starters Kelley would have lobbed hand grenades on congress when he was ordered to explain away how 100s of marines were killed at the BIA airport barracks .(Reagan ordered the marine guards to have unloaded weapons) and Kelley had all the info on trucks being loaded across from the airport . Then he was ordered to leave with his dead and wounded Marines .

Given a chance now he would probably pack a grenade up that little twerp Petraeus butt than explain anymore about Islamo facists .

Looking back at what King David did, she was hot , married , two kids ,and railing a 4 star General ,but what the f*&^, we're at war . Now we just wait for more of Islam to turn their guns on us .

Thanks Obama for rolling this story out right after the election so you and Hillary can head to damage control.

My name is Marrissa from canada,Often in our busy lives we cant forget just how much we depend or should depend on our helper. Not just for the big things, like bringing a lost love once back home, healing a sick loved one, providing for us in a financial help, but the little things. His gentle casting that awakes us each morning, the brilliant colors of His spell casting, the smile on my child's face. Most of all, I'm thankful to priest IKEMBA, which is now my Savior. For His love for me to know that the spell casting really works in my life. For His blessed assurance. And for this site that allowed me to express my thanks.similar problem should contact him at ikemspiritaultemple@gmail.com.
