FBI: 80% of Fraud Attributed To Insiders Not Homeowners
The increased reliance by both financial institutions and non-financial institution lenders on third party brokers has created opportunities for organized fraud groups, particularly where mortgage industry professionals are involved. Combating significant fraud in this area is a priority, because mortgage lending and the housing market have a significant overall effect on the nation's economy. All mortgage fraud programs were recently consolidated within the Financial Institution Fraud Unit, even where the targeted
lender is not a financial institution. This consolidation provides a more effective and efficient management over mortgage fraud investigations, the ability to identify and respond more rapidly to emerging mortgage fraud problems, and a better picture of the overall mortgage fraud problem./ http://www.lvamerica.com/USApdfs/FBI.pdf

Government Bailouts: A U.S. Tradition Dating to Hamilton
SEPTEMBER 20, 2008 / http://tinyurl.com/ygk788s
The bubble pops. Lenders freeze. Depositors lose faith. Panic spreads. And the government steps in because nobody else will.
Today it is Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson and Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke putting together the rescue package for a financial system rocked by falling home prices and a wave of defaults on subprime mortgages.
But a short walk through U.S. history demonstrates the point made by Alex J. Pollock of the American Enterprise Institute: "If you would like an empirical law of government behavior, it is that in a panic or threatened financial collapse, governments intervene -- every government, every party, every country, every time."

Vote for Change? Atrocity-Linked U.S. Officials Advising Democratic, GOP Presidential Frontrunners / January 3, 2008 / http://tinyurl.com/2blb3d
Independent journalist Allan Nairn and American Conservative correspondent Kelley Beaucar Vlahos discuss a little-addressed facet of the 2008 campaign: many of the top advisers to leading presidential candidates are ex-U.S. officials involved in atrocities around the world

Nearly 250 campaign bundlers each raised at least $500,000 for the president. Those donors included actors Will Smith and his wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Eva Longoria, Wendell Pierce and film producer Harvey Weinstein.

Other top donors included musician Gwen Stefani, fashion editor Anna Wintour, Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley and Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe.

Obama's already lowering support among whites show a larger drop-off among college educated white voters.

From 51% to 24% in the last month

It's a little late for those college educated pie in the sky clowns and the liberal Jews to wake up. If both had ingaged their brains we wouldn't be stuck with the pimp who wants to be kinga. The only thing that might save us, is if Americans get off their ass and impeaches the socialist, before he does any more harm.

Feels like we are spoon fed all of these stats. Got some of the same ones before the election. I guess it will be the "we made a mistakes" excuse this time while the President continues his leftward march to progressive nirvana.

Living in Bangkok I do come in contact with many folk from around the world and nowhere do I go and the conversation turns to politics around the world. People can not understand what has happened to America and that even includes local taxi drivers. They are at a loss as to how that idiot could have been elected once, let alone twice. He has never done anything in his life to qualify him for the job. How in the hell can he let piss ant N Korea continue to be a threat, how can he allow Africa to become the new Afghanistan. The worthless bastard has not uttered one word about either. But he's all over gay rights and womens causes or gun control. No one knows who gave the order to release 2000 illegals. Are the twits in Washington playing with a full deck? America has got to wake up, impeach the incompetent. Toss out all of his incompetent merry men and lesbians.
