How much has Obama added in under four years?
actually the debt accumulated under Obama is a result of the lingering Bush Tax Cuts, the Cost of the Wars, and the Medicare Gift to the Health Care Insurers and Prescription Industry, none of which were paid for in any way once signed into law by the Bush Regime.

There hasn't been any spending proposals other than the Continuing Resolutions to fund Federal Agencies. Other than the one time Stimulus in 2009 there just has not been legislation approved in Congress to spend beyond the cost of Federal Agency Operations.

First you have to admit the problem, then you can address it! Obama raised the debt 5 trillion dollars, a fact you seemed to leave out when blaming the Bushs and Reagan. But that is typical of the Democrats of today. He has had 4 years and he has done nothing!! NOTHING!! Defend his record! Fix the problem, not the blame!!

Nobody expected in 2007 when lay-offs started booming that the entire economy was priming itself to totally collapse.
Then there was the run on Banks and foreclosures began to mount as the real estate market froze solid.
We are much better off now than right before the Bush tsunami
Did you ever bother to ask yourself why the economy was going in the toilet and the market going in the opposite direction? Or are you just going to pull a Noble Peace Prize move and credit DumBama even though he did nothing?

America didn't have debt accumulating until George Bush signed into law in 2001 and 2003 those destructive tax policies that lead to people like Romney avoiding legally their tax obligations.
This anti American rhetoric is juvenile, especially when idiots are lobbying charges of which they have no accurate understanding and, or out right lying to defend.
Since the cabal of Bush and Cheney, not a single policy this destruction combination ushered onto the backs of American has been change or altered in any fashion because of the secret conspiracy designed by the Republicans to ensure the complete economic failure of America through obstruction and inactivity in Congress.
There will never be a moment in American history to duplicate the Treasonous Republican Senate Leader, Mitch McConnell proudly touting his goals to assist in the complete demise of the President of the United States which would ensure high unemployment and one Term, his single focus.
McConnell and the members of the Cabal in that meeting should be outed, shackled and quartered. At the very least Hung for Treason and High Crimes against the Citizen of the United States.

Yes, of course. And we should honor people like Holder.

Romney made his money from capital gains. Capital gains reductions came under Bill Clinton. That's when the economy took off.

Most of the Bush years were great years and ended when the housing collapse took place which had many a Democrat fingerprint on it.

Don't blame McConnell or anybody else for your failed President. He has no ideas because he's never so much as run a hotdog stand at a baseball game. He is totally ignorant of business and the economy. Like the measures he passed when we had a Socialist Congress, any new plans of his would have failed too.

Let's see, Obama carried over how many of Bush's(bad)policies?

Guantanamo=Check!
Corporate and wall street welfare=Check!
Amnesty for illegal immigrants=Check!
War in Afghanistan=Check!
Penalizing people for not purchasing health insurance=oh wait, Obama did that one on his own.

It's just too bad he didn't continue Bush's stimulus as well. Bush cut taxes to get the economy going. DumBama borrowed money and spent it on his environmentalist and union friends. The tax cuts he did enact were barely noticeable to those who received them.

The Bush tax cuts were extended until the end of this year. The Obama tax cut was on top of the Bush tax cuts. I guess you'd have to know what's going on around you to notice them.

I work for a living. I hardly noticed any real difference. I mean, look at the costs of having Obama around. Higher credit card interest rates, transfer fees, higher prices on cigarettes, higher healthcare premiums, and of course we can't forget much higher prices on gasoline, diesel fuel and food.

It's like Obama running around talking about all the jobs that were created while conveniently not mentioning the jobs that were lost. When we look at the net, it's not very impressive. We still have less jobs today than when he took office. Same holds true with his tax cuts. Look how much you got and then subtract what you lost. I don't know about you, but I have less.

<quoted text>I applaud your analysis and agree totally. Reagan took America from a Debt of $880 Billion to more than $2.4 Trillion.

That was followed by George H.W Bush who lumped onto that $2.4 Trillion a cool $1 Trillion, and his infamous Son who approved more than $6 Trillion for a grand total just in the last 33 years of over $9 Trillion of the current $15.9 Trillion in National Debt or more than 60% of the nation's debt since George Washington.
you skipped over Barry's $5.5 trillion in just over 3 years.

Laughable - all the CONS on here think that the economy is all Obama's fault.

Truth is that it wouldn't matter which PRES got in or which PARTY won the Whitehouse last election.........they would have been FORCED to spend all that money to keep the US economy barely afloat - not to mention the world economy.

Any person with any intellect KNOWS that is was the GOP that is mostly to fault for the economy, and there is no way ANY PARTY was going to turn it all around in 3 years. This spiral started with Reagan and the Bushes - Clinton corrected course FAST and the GOP destroyed it all again.
it is obammys fault. Ho's policies have stopes us from having a recovery.

Romney: we are better off than we were four years ago.

""Romney On Whether We’re Better Off:‘Of Course It’s Getting Better’

...When President Obama took office, the economy was shedding 800,000 jobs per month and contracting at a rate of 8.9 percent. As Time’s Michael Grunwald noted, at that pace,“we would have shed the entire Canadian economy in 2009.” Literally four years ago, in September 2008, the U.S. was gripped by financial panic.

Investment banks were failing, mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were placed into conservatorship, and the groundwork was being laid for the Bush administration’s $700 billion bailout of the financial system." TP

That is the first thing Romney has said that was not a blatant, pathological lie.

See, he admits that things are getting better. So just tell the Republsicum Congress to stop trying to derail the economy and let's get to 6% unemployment post haste.

Are you really this stupid?

Dumbya's tax cuts DID NOT WORK. If they had we would have a completely recovered economy after he broke it.

Are you really this much of a liar?

Can you add? Can you read?

No wonder you love the FOUR TIME draft dodging, tax dodging Romney and the guy who lies about his marathon time Ryan.
