Ultimately, it was his LACK of CLASS that hurt him. He was a LYING SNOB.
Money doesn't confer class, grace does.
Warren Buffett has class and grace.
So does President Obama.
And by the GRACE of GOD, President Obama won, again.

Romney lost the class warfare because of the lack of financial literacy in US. Romny lost the class warfare battle because he failed to make any concessions on taxes period.
Financial literacy is one of the many categories where many US citizens are lacking. But this illiteracy let the focus stay on individual income taxes when in fact the focus should've been on corporate income taxes. But is that lack of focus on the lack corporate income taxes (probably stained by the occupy movement) that lost the class war for Mit.
Everybody was focusing on Mit's 13% income tax and yet no one was complaining about publically listed corporation paying NO taxes. Mit didn't want to touch that subject because he had to appease his financial buddies/backers and the public wanted a scapegoat. Mit had nothing to loose in trying to get corporations to more taxes because there has been so much down sizing and outsourcing what do many have left to bargain with. He could've hitched a ride on the too big to fail montra because that what of these corporations were and still are.
The current economy was not the proper setting to espouse the benefits of capitalism especially if you wind up defending corporations by inaction or saying nothing.

do you mean? The war on everybody else by the 1 percenters is far from over. They wasted a lot of money on their campaign that could have gone into "job creation," but ultimately more people are catching on to what they have done to destroy the common good.

Romney failed to adequately respond to the rethoric of class warfare. Personal Income tax rates are not the issue. Yes there are and will be differences on what individuals will pay in income tax. But there are many other ways to raise money to fund the government including more taxes on corporationS(actually just fewer loophole are all that are needed). There are different types of taxes or just call taxes what they really are, a fee or bill government services(hopefully). Everyone's income tax notice needs to come with an itemized reciept for what they paid in taxes.
And what's with this newer montra of people with money 'hoarding it'? Wealth redistribution?
