Obama backs Planned Parenthood in political fight

Apr 26, 2013 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: Rome News

President Barack Obama vowed Friday to join Planned Parenthood in fighting against what he said are efforts by states to turn women's health back to the 1950s, before the Supreme Court legalized abortion nationwide, and singled out the GOP-governed states of North Dakota and Mississippi for criticism.

Here goes Obama up to his usual antics when he gets in trouble. His divisiveness and anti-American rhetoric lead to Boston. His inability to regulate out of control businesses that wreak havic on the environment lead to West, TX. His ineptitude in foreign policy lead to Bengazhi. He has blood on his hands. So what does he do? He joins with Planned Parenthood to scare women, again pitting Americans against each other for political gain since he cannot score points through merit. Obama needs to resign. He is obviously not qualified nor mature enough for the job. He already caused so much death and destruction. He must be removed from office before his tyranny leads to any more deaths.

So glad Obama is fighting for women's rights! Sick of these idiots trying to keep a woman "barefoot and pregnant" and "off that darned old birth control" like it's the 1950s. Not only are these idiots trying to outlaw abortion, they are trying to outlaw BIRTH CONTROL! I have seen countless politicians lately saying that birth control is unethical and useless! This is not the 1950's and a woman's place is not in the kitchen with a huge pregnant belly UNLESS SHE WANTS IT TO BE! Women can have a baby if they want, or not have a darn baby! Religion should have no place in politics. Our forefathers said it and we should still be saying it too!I don't care what the religious folks think about my rights. Religion should not be involved in politics! Our forefathers had that right for sure. Go Obama Go!

Anti-Born Alive Act Barack, who three times voted against the Illinois Born Alive Infants Protection Act identical to the one that passed the House and Senate without a dissenting vote [ http://www.nrlc.org/ObamaBAIPA/2003AmendedILB... ], is joined at the hip to Big Abortion.

Obama, like Planned Parenthood, still favors no restrictions on abortion, even restrictions that would give medical attention to born-alive infants who survive abortion. During his speech, Obama said “there’s nothing conservative about the government injecting itself into decisions best made between a woman and her doctor.” The Planned Parenthood representative in Florida said essentially the same thing to the Florida legislature

And of course, the president said nothing about Kermit Gosnell, just as Planned Parenthood has said and done nothing. On April 18, the Philadelphia Daily News reported -- http://articles.philly.com/2013-04-18/news/38... -- that Planned Parenthood knew about the conditions in Gosnell’s clinic, yet did not contact the police or elected officials.

According to the Grand Jury Report [ http://www.phila.gov/districtattorney/pdfs/gr... ], the National Abortion Federation also inspected Gosnell’s clinic and despite rejecting his application to join, they too did nothing to report the clinic to the authorities.

Obama saying may God bless you to the Planned Parenthood audience is akin to Hitler saying at the Nuremberg rallies "You're doing the Lord's work!"
.
Obama has pumped out so much garbage and misinformation I think he no longer he realizes what he says when he's saying it.

Abortion is a public policy matter that goes beyond equal pay.
.
Keep in mind, many of these groups want federal funding, which makes it ***everyone's*** business. Keep in mind the court has also said it can be regulated.
.
Think about it.

So funny, these republicans hate Obama and yet they have him for a president because of their war against women. The republican party is going to keep up with its anti woman anti gay messages until they are completely marginalized.

Actually it was also the free stuff that helped him get reelected. Twenty seven million on food stamps when he was first elected, now close to 47 million collecting food stamps. As the saying goes, never look a gift horse in the mouth.

As a side note, California's Department of Social Services discovered that more than $69 million targeted at helping the needy pay their rent and clothe their children was accessed by debit card use in 49 other states, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Guam between January 2007 and May 2010.

The Times' story said the department's database showed $16,010 withdrawn from ATMs on 14 cruise ships sailing from such locales as Long Beach, CA and Miami along with such international cruise destinations as Brazil and China.

Eight of the ships on which the cards were used sail primarily from Miami. In addition, more than $11 million was spent or withdrawn in Las Vegas, about $1 million of that at shops and casino hotels on or close to the strip; of that,$8,968 was accessed at the Tropicana and $7,995 at the Venetian and its Grand Canal Shoppes.

Because they really don't care about women, just the abortion. It's a big money maker.

I remember but a few years ago when I thought I would never live to see a president worse than Bush. Enter Obama. The guy isn't even trying anymore. It's pretty sad and speaks ill of our current state of affairs that someone as overtly inept and blindly destructive would be elected twice to our highest office. We are in pretty bad shape. This cannot sustain. If we continue our downward tranectory and elect a guy like Obama (or worse if that's possible) in 2016, prepare to lose our country forever.

A post like this truly makes my day.

Just shows how deranged the Obama Presidency has made these silly right-wingers. I’m will to bet everything that this fool cheered George W Bush as he ran this nation into the ground and to the edge of total collapse. The Stock Market is at record highs, unemployment has come down to 7.4%, Manufacturing is coming back big - and yet this idiot claim that the nation is on a “downward trajectory”.

WE WON… TWICE; get over it loser, LOL!

Oh PLEASE. Luckily for all women, President Obama has shown that he fully SUPPORTS women's reproductive rights by supporting Planned Parenthood. Some religious conservatives would like nothing better than to block or even remove access to all forms of contraception as well as abortion because THEY say birth control is "bad." Well guess what, THEY don't get to make a woman's sexual and reproductive decisions for her.

If people have "issues" with Planned Parenthood, their solution is an easy one; DON'T use its services. They don't have the right or the authority to prevent women from going to PP for contraception or any other service PP offers.

I couldn't agree more. Republican religionists need to stay OUT of women's sexual and reproductive decisions, as it's none of their bleeping business whether women have children or not.

A woman has the same right NOT to have children as she does to be a mother, no matter what the regressive Republicans say.

Planned Parenthood targets black children for abortion more than any other race.

PP's founder was American Brown-shirt supporter of Adolf Hitler. PP's founder and Hitler were influenced by the Eugenist movement. In fact, Eugenics is the PP policy just as Eugenics was the policy behind the Holocaust.
